QUOTE(AoiNatsume @ Jan 16 2008, 02:41 PM) I wonder, whats the best air cooling which can be obtained in malaysia at the moment given that budet isnt a problem at all...? well... there is a limit haha, max <RM350 Any recommendations? im thinking of reverting back to air cooling since the hassle of draining the water each time i change any components and reinstalling the whole thing back at once is a farking pain in the ass. TR IFX or Xigmatek s1283.

QUOTE(sukhoi37 @ Jan 16 2008, 08:35 PM) TR IFX or Xigmatek s1283. hmm.. are there any other options? somehow... IFX/U120eX/S1283 performance does not impress me at all Or perhaps i was expecting too much out of air cooling... this is a very difficult decision to make save the hassle and sacrifice performance.. haha.

Don't pray that air cooling would be as fantastic like water cooling ..
as long as don't breach 55c of record .. it should be on the safe side to use air cooling for long period...

R u sure bro??? Some high-end air cooling will be as good as mid-range WC kit. It all depends to the ambient temperature.

well.. that is if you take my current WC kit as "mid-end" Added on January 17, 2008, 12:35 pmand btw bro, which HSF are you referring to? if you're reffering to Xigmatek S1283/ Ultra 120ex, i used them both before and they dont even cmoe close to my WC loops... not to mention that they'are huge ass coolers and not very motherboard friendly, the ultra 120ex is bloody heavy. Well,of course your WC kit is a high-end one. I am referring to those gigabyte galaxy, thermaltake, zalman, evercool etc. About the HSF,i am referring to the xigmatek S-963,i am using it w/o ever reaching 47c load. The highest ever i get with 1.6V is 46c load prime 14 hours.
