My contribution

AoiNatsume | AMD X2 3800+ Windsor F3 3.4Ghz @ 1.4v | Xigmatek S1283 | Idle 36°C / Load 47°C / Ambience 35°C | AM2

Btw bro shawty, i suggest adding ambient temps on the list as well, it does plays an important role in the temps.

This thread should provide a very informative db on HSF's thumbup.gif

I wonder, whats the best air cooling which can be obtained in malaysia at the moment given that budet isnt a problem at all...? well... there is a limit haha, max <RM350

Any recommendations? im thinking of reverting back to air cooling since the hassle of draining the water each time i change any components and reinstalling the whole thing back at once is a farking pain in the ass.

TR IFX or Xigmatek s1283. wink.gif

hmm.. are there any other options? somehow... IFX/U120eX/S1283 performance does not impress me at all sweat.gif
Or perhaps i was expecting too much out of air cooling... this is a very difficult decision to make sweat.gif
save the hassle and sacrifice performance.. haha.

well.. that is if you take my current WC kit as "mid-end" sweat.gif

Added on January 17, 2008, 12:35 pmand btw bro, which HSF are you referring to? if you're reffering to Xigmatek S1283/ Ultra 120ex, i used them both before and they dont even cmoe close to my WC loops... not to mention that they'are huge ass coolers and not very motherboard friendly, the ultra 120ex is bloody heavy.
