Good performance by Xigmatek...My Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 3.50GHz and 1.38750v with a Thermalright Ultima-90i has temperature measurements of 41°C at idle and 55°C at load with ORTHOS (47°C with normal use such as turning on Photoshop, AutoCAD, Limewire, Live Messenger, IE7, and a couple mundane utilities).

Would the motherboard survive in the long run ohmy.gif

it's just massive and size is like a giant volcano ... with all those pipes spreading like lavas ...

I wonder how could the performance could be with such design ...

imho the fan doesnt justify the cooler....main advantage of downdraft coolers compared to towers is that it helps to cool down the surrounding components on the mobo as well. with a cooler that thick...i doubt the air will be able to reach the mobo components....

and i so want the TR SI-128SE. dont think inter asia gonna bring it in cry.gif

I am using this cooler and i have done 3.48Ghz on my e2140 with no probs with an ambient temp of 28 degrees and load of 68-70 degrees. Mind you, im pumping around 1.60V. So figure brows.gif This is a good bargain for its price. I would give it 4 stars for performance.

How is the performance?
Price to performance ratio?
And any other CPU coolers to consider?
