I want something which not that huge, maybe use 92mm fan.

Ultra to ohuge using 120mm fan.

That's why looking for S983/Vendetta, performance better than S963 but not too far behind of S1283 or Ultra 120.

Thermalright Ultima90i. Excellent performance, that is almost comparable to Ultra 120 Extreme biggrin.gif

Added on January 11, 2008, 10:36 pmHave questions for air experts...

[attachmentid=377117]

1. If I use reversed ATX Type B (that's CPU at the bottom and GPU at the top), would it be better that I set the backside fan (which is at the bottom now) to blow cool air into the casing instead of out of the casing? It will blow directly at my Ultima90i...making it the second fan (I have a 92mm fan stuck unto the Ultima90i).

2. If I set it that way, there's only the top fan that is extracting the hot air from my CM Stacker 830. So, would it be better that I set the four 120mm fans on the side to extract air instead of blowing unto my motherboard? The air current for the four 120mm fans are quite limited due to filters and wire meshes...

3. Should I just remove all filters and wire meshes so that air current is enhanced? Dust will settle inside my chassis though...

Thanks in advance...

C2D e6300 @ 2.80GHz ~ 1.296Volts ~ Xigmatek HDT-S1283 ~ Idle 40°C, Load 53°C ~ LGA775

Good performance by Xigmatek...My Core 2 Duo E6550 @ 3.50GHz and 1.38750v with a Thermalright Ultima-90i has temperature measurements of 41°C at idle and 55°C at load with ORTHOS (47°C with normal use such as turning on Photoshop, AutoCAD, Limewire, Live Messenger, IE7, and a couple mundane utilities).

Want massive passive? Here's the latest from Scythe. It seems to be able to fit 4 fans though...
