I think if you already have it, it’s fine. Ya, that’s exactly it, it launched with Apple’s 2022 chipset in the fall of 2023, but back then everyone didn’t mind because the A Bionic chips were so ahead of the game last year’s chipset performances matched this year’s competition. No one saw it coming that Apple would exclude it from one part of OS updates in the future..
