QUOTE(joshgm_119 @ Apr 9 2024, 05:34 AM) highways generally have sweeping corners and not sharp ones, so it doesnt really slow down. Unless refer to highway exit... but having tried on KL roads, yeah, if it senses its approaching a sharper corner and does brake. basic autopilot here. |

QUOTE(xom89 @ Apr 9 2024, 08:57 PM) So it is like no difference for Basic autopilot with Enhanced autopilot? In term of cruising on highway? Better wait for FSD available in Malaysia then only buy the FSD AP and eAP is based on the same stack... hence differences is eAP able to signal to overtake, while on AP autosteer will disable moment you signal.FSD is on different stack so that's different ball game... I think most of us looking forward to it |

QUOTE(joshgm_119 @ Apr 11 2024, 05:38 AM) Oof yeah, uneven roads and corners, bugger gives me an adrenaline rush with the braking and then accelerating outta the corner. Max out at 140 km/h isn't it? for AP that is.Feels dangerous, but it stays well within the lane. Tested up to illegal speeds when theres zero traffic in the middle of the night. |

QUOTE(sansaboy @ Apr 11 2024, 03:08 PM) Yaya My first journey on highway at night was just after the adaptive high beam firmware kicks in, I was so impressed with it 🤩. Totally agree with you, this adaptive high beam is mantap. That's why I never use AP on NSE Too many lorry truck on nse nowadays Once a while, when really no big truck, will activate AP before approaching those AES camera To make sure drive below 110kmh in front of camera Most just for fun But Tesla adaptive headlights function is a must for highway Especially Nse on night time It's God sent feature I think most Tesla owner here know this But surprise to me, both my colleagues and neighbor don't know about this "adaptive headlights " thing It's make night drive on highway so so so much more safety and comfortable xiaojohn liked this post

I have not tried a shade, cause I find them cumbersome. But I'm satisfied with mine, I'm using Xpel XR Plus VLT30 for my top glass.

QUOTE(xom89 @ Apr 14 2024, 11:04 AM) I thought Tesla AP is much better than other brands ADAS? Definitely drives worse than I do... 1 month ago kena stuck in start stop traffic at PLUS... used this, wife complained why I drive like this ha ha ha... and I think the front was pretty ok.My current car ADAS is "copy & paste" the front car behavior, which is not comfortable if the driver in front don't know how to drive nicely 😆 Tesla AP is the main reason if I want to change car max_cavalera liked this post

QUOTE(sansaboy @ Apr 24 2024, 12:05 PM) The price difference between LR & Performance smaller than expected That price differences is worth it...Really a tough decision for me Rm24k for that different and performance The only downside of performance variant I can think : -Range -100km -20' Tyre will be nightmare in Malaysia road conditions -Ev road tax( may be government will put very high road tax on performance level ev , to justify the critic from public? ) But for track kaki, This performance price sure will be a damn good deal 3.1s, 20" rims, new seats and carbon fiber deco internals... worth it la! Heck the front bumper is new, and upgraded brakes too? Oh adaptive suspension ftw. sansaboy liked this post

QUOTE(HotshotS @ Apr 24 2024, 05:39 PM) If you're a car enthusiast then the extra 24k (3.1s, 262 km/h, adaptive dampers, 20 inch rims, performance brakes with red calipers, bucket seat, sportier chassis, track mode customization, carbon fiber spoiler & interior) are worth every penny. AB probably costs RM10,000... RM24k - RM10k... gap is only 14k now LOL. Minus 19" nova... Goes down to RM6,500...However, if you're just a normal driver then the long range version should suffice. 4.4s are still insane numbers for regular Joes and there is the advantage of the extra 150km of range (by using 18 inch photon wheels) or 101km of range (by using 19 inch nova wheels). Now can't wait for Tesla to announce the acceleration boost package for the long range version hopefully in the not too distant future! M3P price in Malaysia is a steal! AB would come probably after Tesla milked the M3P sales or perhaps eventually released FOC? Anyways something doesn't quite add up. M3LR declared 366kW motor = 490hp (based on original model 3, that is with AB. Without AB is about 390hp). M3P declared 460hp ~ 343kW... less roadtax than M3LR!? I feeling kena con liao Only exception is, if you need that extra range from LR to avoid stopping during your travels... then the LR is worth it over the P. Meh, kena mute all the groups now HotshotS liked this post

QUOTE(Icehart @ Apr 25 2024, 08:06 PM) Doesn't seem to have a big difference in range between old M3 LR and M3 P if both follow same driving pattern. Wonder how this highland will fare? ![]() Previous M3LR and M3P similar motor kW rating but this round if not mistaken it’s almost 100 kW more. 461 kW vs 366 kW. Previously I think is about 390 kW for M3P. |

QUOTE(hksgmy @ Apr 28 2024, 07:43 AM) Assume battery at 100% health, charging from 0-100 on 11kW AC will take the following time.M3LR | 77.6 kW / 11 kWh = 7 hours M3SR | 60 kW / 11 kWh = 5 hours 30 minutes For me, I use my car to below 45%, will charge to 75%. And even when I'm charging, my charger is scheduled so the car is at 75% just before I go out from home. Software does it automatically after config. Side note, I also charge at just 7kW (10A 3P), this is about 96% efficiency on the OBC. Any lower it drops in efficiency, and higher just well... charge finish faster but since I do it overnight no rush. |

QUOTE(jimcarrey @ May 4 2024, 10:57 PM) Collectes the car earlier today and everything looks good during the delivery time. Go earliest session, skip the queue. Or go the latest session eg. 4pm or so usually less queue. If you arrive at say 10am or 3pm... prepare to wait at 1hr+ before they do anything to your car.Went home and found out 2 things that I din noticed earlier. 1. Door level uneven. (One side only) 2. The rear seats got some stains on it. Use alcohol wipe to clean and all but can’t get rid of it. Don’t dare use other stronger cleaner products. Plan to reach out to my DA tomorrow. Also read from FB, can just schedule a service appointment and get it checked. Any one got experience or general advise pls share. TIA ![]() |

QUOTE(Rammygn @ May 9 2024, 12:13 AM) Feels like they aren’t really following the order date, which is a bit frustrating tbh. Suspect there are inside favours for prioritising some orders albeit done later because they have inside ‘connections’. Maybe that’s expected. The under table concept is probably there, and it is also based on which configuration arriving. Tesla new models isn’t built to order, but HQ assigns the car to each location and if ngam yours you get assigned a VIN. Rammygn liked this post
