Did you go for cr20 for the back?
*
I went with CR40. Too dark will be difficult to see at night since the rear and side mirrors have autodim, especially those cars that dont on headlights or motors

I think CR blocks the smart tag IR wave length, but if you're RFID user then no impact.

Mine did llumar ceramic on all side. Heat is manageable dont really feel it.

But on a really hot sunny day and park outside. will still feel a bit of heat on top of my head.

Just open the back ACs and direct the flow upwards to the roof it will be cool in no time biggrin.gif tongue.gif

I recently purchased Etiqa insurance, and it requires the vehicle’s plate number to proceed, so start buying/bidding your number in JPJ app now
*
Called etiqa hotline: 1 300 13 8888 and talk to their customer service support.

They can insured your Tesla even before you get your plate no. VIN no/chassis no is enuf iinm. They have an appointed staff to handle only tesla new cars insurance.

However you do need to reply their Email on the document once your plate no registraion have cone out for them to update your insurance policy cerificate.

Today i just paid for etiqa then only realize it's market value instead of agreed value, not sure how should i be concerned about this, anyone has experience on this for Tesla?

Etiqa said no more agreed value since September 2025 for all EVs.

Don't work anymore for new EV car plate as it is made by metal which block radio signal.

Owh i didnt know that. My TM3 come out mid sept 2025. But I dont think you need to worry. 2025 is ending and based on current status quo, all CBU imported EVs 2026 onwards will be no more tax free.

The 2026 batch would probably be more pricier than the price we get this year… this will also probably safeguard your insurance market value next year onwards

My LR RWD delivery is on Nov 25, booking was made on 10 Oct after the budget announcement.

I havent prepared or enquired on the wall connector. Looks like i will need to convert my current single phase electric to 3-phase before start to install the connector. Guys, mind to share your experience on this?

The phase conversion and connector installation will probably cost rm10k+ for my house. Also, if im going for 3-phase, i guess might as well go for solar panel, that will be another rm35k++. Darn, all this costs money! Im thinking if i can buy and use the granny charger/mobile connector first while i decide on the whole 3phase and solar thingy. Will it be safe to use granny charger as a temporary main charging source? Chatgpt says its safe and highly recommended due to the low amp being good for battery conservation, as long as i use a durable switch point, but other sources say that granny is only meant for emergency, not as main charging point. What do you guys think?
