because smart tag is using old tech, infrared signal. if u take premium tint which blocked 97% to 99% IRR, it balance of 1% for the tag signal, hence majority of time it will failed. yeah some new tech on the tint nowadays can make the tag work even at high IRR% rejection, but again it still not smooth as without tint or using low IRR rejection tint.

that why some shop helps by doing some holes at the windscreen tint for the tag to work better

From my point of view, I think they might be re-considering the plan of setting up a supercharging station at the Sunway City Mall Ipoh because the mall is not expected to be operational before 2027 and that's a super long wait. Maybe they are exploring other suitable venues in Ipoh.

If Sunway is the only way then the perfect solution would be setting up supercharging station at a designated public & open space around Sunway Ipoh while allocating destination charging station for Sunway City Mall Ipoh. However, I think most probably they will still set up supercharging station inside a mall lmao

Just got my Model 3 rwd last few days and I realise the tyre come with Bridgestone Turanza. No longer Michelin. Besides that, I didn’t get the type 2 cable. They no longer giving free type 2 cable for new car?
