QUOTE(Prometric @ Nov 5 2024, 04:02 PM) i think mine is around 80% but you can freely use their TDC there to charge to full if you want. Not sure if you need pay for the supercharger at the collection area though. As long you have not completed the delivery on the app, it is FOC.

QUOTE(Agent001 @ Nov 6 2024, 11:03 PM) Hi guys, any opinions about Solid Black vs Quicksilver? Which is a better colour? Color is subjective, ultimately depends on your taste. I personally love the quick silver, however if have plans to wrap down the road then go with black as black base is easier to handle during wrap process.

QUOTE(narutokun83 @ Nov 11 2024, 05:39 PM) All inventory stocks are 2024 registered cars. They are brand new cars from Shanghai. For January 2025, they will be registered as 2025 He meant Year of Manufacture. So yes all inventory at the moment is definitely YM2024. However in January, if any YM2024 may still be there la. I personally registered in Jan'24 but is YM2023.

But someone also shared, the new number plate being detected and showing "Tag tidak sah" This post has been edited by celciuz: Nov 12 2024, 09:28 AM

QUOTE(Agent001 @ Nov 17 2024, 02:58 PM) Can I ask, for those who retrofitted the JPJ e plate, is it possible to install the windshield rfid sticker with qr code on a holder, before sticking on the windscreen? Just in case windscreen cracked, need to replace next time… There was news about those holders with 2 suction... those suction acted as a magnifying glass which burns the dashboard.

QUOTE(ayamxxx @ Nov 18 2024, 08:26 AM) because smart tag is using old tech, infrared signal. if u take premium tint which blocked 97% to 99% IRR, it balance of 1% for the tag signal, hence majority of time it will failed. yeah some new tech on the tint nowadays can make the tag work even at high IRR% rejection, but again it still not smooth as without tint or using low IRR rejection tint. that why some shop helps by doing some holes at the windscreen tint for the tag to work better Or just use TNG RFID instead, totally no issue

QUOTE(sansaboy @ Nov 22 2024, 10:22 PM) Just confirm from my customer model Y LR Malaysia don't have He had ask Tesla Malaysia , they also not sure about this We wild guess may be pending jpj approval? And the coming soon ev road tax also calculated by power output Don't know this acceleration boost affecting the power output calculation or not M3LR 366kW declared in roadtax, that is with AB figures. Without AB it is about 300kW ~ 390hp peak.

QUOTE(HotshotS @ Nov 27 2024, 06:03 PM) From my point of view, I think they might be re-considering the plan of setting up a supercharging station at the Sunway City Mall Ipoh because the mall is not expected to be operational before 2027 and that's a super long wait. Maybe they are exploring other suitable venues in Ipoh. Sunway City Mall Ipoh will eventually be a Supercharger spot I reckon, so there might be two instead of one spot at Ipoh. After all, Sunway appears to be their partner for Supercharger locations.

QUOTE(HotshotS @ Nov 28 2024, 06:16 PM) If Sunway is the only way then the perfect solution would be setting up supercharging station at a designated public & open space around Sunway Ipoh while allocating destination charging station for Sunway City Mall Ipoh. However, I think most probably they will still set up supercharging station inside a mall lmao If you noticed all Supercharger locations are with the company with more budget, with the exception of Skudai RnR. Probably got to do with the infrastructure set up costs.

The peak power usage, is probably another factor here. Big malls tend to have more reserves or a higher peak power usage capacity as compared to those petrol stations along highway (though those are the ones that area greatly needed for us).
After all, it is all about the $.

QUOTE(zer016 @ Dec 1 2024, 04:46 PM) Just got my Model 3 rwd last few days and I realise the tyre come with Bridgestone Turanza. No longer Michelin. Besides that, I didn’t get the type 2 cable. They no longer giving free type 2 cable for new car? I think Type 2 only for 2023 manufacturing car previously, I don't think any of the MY2024 got it? Around Sep time all changed to Bridgestone, apparently is a pricier tire than Michelin on the earlier batches.
