This is how F1 cars look alike. Top designer doesnt need other team spec to try another team aerodynamics setups, they can just built one, run it and see if they can gain any advantages from it.

I was talking about spygate la. And yes, even fans set double standards, so before you want to bash me on being hypocritical, I'll admit it myself. What is the point wasting positive energy on a team that doesn't affect you?

Ferrari used the twin towers? When? First I heard of the twin towers was BMW Sauber...

ron dennis want to appeal regarding bmw/william oil tempt but both of mclaren drivers were not happy at all.

I think Toyota did have their headquarters raided by investigators. There was an investigation.
Not sure what happens after that, probably Toyota decided to settle it out of court?

Having other teams intellectual properties is wrong. What Ron Dennis should have done is to go straight to the police to report both employee. He didn't. Instead he let them run it in their simulator.

There was once a case where 2 Coke employee went to their rival companies with some formula. The rival company immediately lodge a police report.

There was an investigation but do you think Ferrari would have pursued harder if it were someone closer in the standings? I certainly do.

Dont you guys wonder why F1 cars look alike? like i said before it is normal in F1 when other teams copies/imitate other teams design. If not F1 will be front engine and tubular cars.

In the fifties, F1 cars is front engine. The one one team change(i forgot which team) to rear mounting and won races, then other teams follow suit.

Same with the F1 turbo era, most teams at the time reluctant to use turbo because of the lag, but when Williams gained complete domination with Turbo F1 cars, others follow suit. Later FIA ban the turbos (damn i miss the sound of the cars)

Its the same with automatic gearing, active suspension, etc etc.

The most recent example that i can give you is the exhaust chimney on the sidepods introduced by Mclaren and the double winglets by Renault.

You see, the aero peeps at F1 teams doesnt need diagram to imitate other teams design. Just a a pic on the newspaper will do.

an example : Team A introduced a new aero component.

Team B, C saw it and reproduced the part and do the testings. Team B saw the introduction of Team A aero component on their car have not gain them any advantages. Team C from their testing found that Team A aero component incorporated into their overall aero package gained significant advantage and decided to use it on the race track.

Every team does this, including my beloved team Mclaren

some interesting stories in the papers today.

- reminded of Alonso's request to not treat him like a double world champion earlier this year when he was in McLaren. But now going around saying his team didn't helped him enough...blamed management as well for not being organized.

- Lewis says his goal was to beat his double World Champion, and says he has done it. Well, I guess that's true as he has more 2nd place than Alonso.

- Finns stunned with Kimi's victory. One 29 year old consultant said he had to take his blood pressure with 20 laps to go

- Tag Heuer already putting up an ad to congratulate Kimi's drivers championship victory. Did anyone see the tatoo on his right arm?

FOM merely broadcasts the footage. In fact, Brazil is one of the three remaining races which is produced by a local broadcaster. And while ITV is a British network no doubt, its team is considered by many to be the de facto top english broadcasting team. Eveything was fine until James Allen took over from Walker. All I want is decent informed professional commentary.

yes, like you said. Unfortunately for you TV2 take the ITV feed. I used to mute my TV when i watched Star sport. Well there's a lot of alternative :

i. Starsports
ii. Starsports Chinese commentary team
iii. SpeedTV

For me, i've gain a lot of F1 knowledge from watching ITV coverage.
