Yes Kimi for the lead. Please God, you have screwed him out of the world title twice. Please be nice to him.

QUOTE(acougan @ Oct 22 2007, 02:16 AM) did he shout? i think he spoke in a monotone like he was in a funeral. i don't even dislike jenson or lewis but JA's over-exuberance at cheerleading the british drivers is overdone and a disservice to some fans who actually wants to watch the race. Brundle is 10 million times better as a commentator - he should just do 1 man show for next year so did I. I have nothing against Hamilton but the way they worship him in their website and stuff is pathetic. Calling him a legend before he has won anything is just shit. This could have been a one-off for f*** sake. In that case, Kimi is God for having two championship taken away from him due to reliability but their legend dropped his head when Kimi didn't lose his. And as for the F1 cover, do you really believe it? I mean he could have been champion at McLaren were it not for his last lap debacle. |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 22 2007, 02:30 AM) That was ONE publication from an article written by ONE person. With Hamilton-mania, a lot more than ONE. I understand your liking for sources. I appreciate that as well to end all arguments on whether my statements can be verified or not but I believe that you have read pro-Hamilton articles enough this season for me not to post links. But if you insist, give me time. Now if you don't mind, mind giving me source for pro-Kimi madness apart from that one article? Because that cover to me is just to say that Kimi will become world champion because Ferrari have an eye on him and not because he's a legend without winning a GP as said by Mark Hughes. |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 22 2007, 02:40 AM) well i must ask you this first. How long have you been reading F1 Racing Mag? and Autosport mag? I have not read those mags at all. F1 Racing Nov 06, may 07, april 07, to name a few have Kimi's face on it plus exclusive interviews. You see when Kimi's is at McLaren, he's in a British team. So the mania started long before he signed for Ferrari. Mika had the same also. |

QUOTE(maranello55 @ Oct 22 2007, 02:42 AM) It is because Finland is full of Kimis and if their press do go Kimi-madness, not alot of us can read Fins can we? I knew you were going to say that but the Brits, knowingly that their stories/broadcast will be to a GLOBAL audience would have to be more careful with their stories and not just type what they like.Unfortunately Lewis is British, English speaking and most F1 publication is in English, and most ppl speaks and read english. The press wants only the hottest stories and Lewis's stories make money...so the go for it. Kimi is an old show. And because F1 is money. |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 22 2007, 10:26 AM) Everyone is entitle to voice their opinion. Why ferrari fans need to nit pick everything Yeah, evoHahn, everyone is entitled to their opinions but the British twist and turn theirs every 5 seconds. When Senna or Schumacher do something, it's called gamesmanship or "bending the rules" while when Hamilton does it, the Brits justify it by saying "nice guys finish last" @ "Senna and Schumacher did or would have done the same" @ " he tricked himself an advantage -direct quote from Mark Hughes F1ITV."ITS OVER. KIMI AND FERRARI IS THE WORLD CHAMPION. Secondly, the hero worship, I still find pathetic. When I read Mark Hughes' article (the one he wrote before the Brazilian GP weekend), he wrote "Forget it, he's already a legend" made me vomit bile. Yet to win anything, ONE GOOD season and he's already a legend. Kononnya. Added on October 22, 2007, 2:08 pmNot to mention, when Ferrari go to FIA, we are sore-losers or being FIA's justice league whereas when McLaren do the same, they are "SEARCHING JUSTICE." I am sick of this to be honest. This post has been edited by kobe8byrant: Oct 22 2007, 02:08 PM |

QUOTE(verx @ Oct 22 2007, 02:24 PM) You know how the British media are. You support a British football team I still found Michael's punishment at the Monaco Grand Prix to be bloody harsh. I think it was an innocent mistake. We have seen cars parked there over the years, haven't we? Just because it's Michael, the pre-judgment sets in. I still feel hard done by that decision. I too don't deny we have gotten some, if not many OUR way but I won't complain but just because we have had decisions going our way in the past doesn't mean you can even things out against us for the sake of maintaining "poetic justice."The teams go to the FIA all the time if they want something clarified. It's not new. But in general over the past few years you can't deny that the FIA's decisions have favoured Ferrari. I too doubt you can disagree that Lewis has gotten some decisions his way. Say what you want about Pit-gate but Lewis should have gotten his punishment by the McLaren team. How was another matter but so much for team-equality if you ask me. Alonso gets a place demotion whereas Lewis gets a slap on the wrist and that's the end of story for him? Then as for the Brazilian qualifying session, it'd be interesting to see what would happen if it were another driver? 5 place drop? Every drivers have slip ups during the season. Both Kimi and Lewis had two DNFs and both had their lapses of concentration. Kimi had his in Bahrain and Monaco. Just so happen that Lewis had his late on in the season and Allen and Brundle said that Lewis was hard done by. Sad case. I held their opinion/commentary in high regard. Should have known better when they were over the moon when a Brit was on the podium in a bloody hopeless Honda. |

QUOTE(verx @ Oct 22 2007, 02:51 PM) What are u on about? Evening out? Every team has the right to seek clarification from the FIA. The media can form their own opinions about it. But that doesn't mean that McLaren are seeking to even things out. And why mention Michael's incident? I could list another dozen incidents that favored Ferrari if that's the way u wanna go. 1) My point was that that incident was the point at which the FIA have decided that they may have screwed some decisions in our favor and it was time to start screwing us instead to show that they aren't Ferrari-bias. As I have said, no need pointing decisions favoring us, I acknowledge it, most of it at least.I don't disagree here. Lewis have had his fair share of decisions going his way but that pit issue has nothing to do with the FIA first and foremost. If u haven't realised, Alonso wasn't punished by the team either; it was the FIA that decided to punish him so i don't see how it helps your point. 2) Alonso interfered with Hamilton's qualifying and he got his FIA penalty whereas Lewis interfered with Kimi's (which he admitted and apologized to Kimi) and he got away scott-free. 3) And regarding pit-gate, wasn't it Lewis who went against team orders? Alonso got his punishment, albeit from the FIA, what did Hamilton get? A big fat championship lead? I still don't buy the team equality that Dennis has been promoting for ages. Added on October 22, 2007, 3:20 pm QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 22 2007, 03:03 PM) Nope. Mika was in South America to promote Safe Driving as part of Johhny Walker promotion worldwide like he did in KL. In fact he was in Mexico prior to Brazillian GP. Raikkonen was being sarcastic. he's a Kimi fan for God's sake. Besides, if he were for Kimi, he would have been to the wrong garage. Mika still looks the same though. Nice to see him back.Get your facts right. This post has been edited by kobe8byrant: Oct 22 2007, 03:22 PM |

Even then, the team should be punished and not the drivers. Strip the team off the points but the drivers? Doubt it'll ever happen. If it does, I'll boycott F1.

QUOTE(KHS @ Oct 22 2007, 05:16 PM) if bmw and williams drivers are punished, then it would to unfair not to dock points from hamilton and alonso regarding the "spy" case... More like ONE second per lap that is until fuel temperature is within normal range.if so, it would be better to just dock points from the team... not the drivers... i read that the advantage gained by using cooled fuel was not much... only 1 second for the whole race... so what they gonna do? add one second to their finish time? this is ridiculous... kimi won it fair and square and he has the most wins in the season |

I can see Williams and BMW having points deducted at most but if the title ever swings McLaren's way, Ferrari can easily appeal it back into their favour citing Schumacher and Coulthard.
For the record: I can understand why McLaren are so pissed. This post has been edited by kobe8byrant: Oct 22 2007, 05:39 PM |

But if Damon wants fairness based on past decisions, then Kimi would still be WDC. Unless fairness in his dictionary means that Lewis has to be King.
