lewis i still can stand. the problem is JA's commentary rgd lewis. damn, he sounds like he's approaching a climax everytime he mention lewis's name. damn embarassing, he should go comment on porn flicks
i think from now on, i need to watch f1 by constantly muting everytime JA starts to speak |

looking back, massa did a great job this year. even though he is not a super competitive racer, his contributions to the team for the past few years is solid. hope he gets a better paycheck/bonus as a reward.
i hope teams like renault, honda and toyota set up their game in developing next year's car. here's to an even better 08! |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 22 2007, 01:54 AM) kimi is now champion, massa won't be given equal status next year - his chance has passed.but i sometimes pity him when rumors of his paycheck is so small compared to MS/Kimi. i think he's paid less than even the ever obedient barrichello. LoL |

QUOTE(shinjite @ Oct 22 2007, 01:48 AM) Seriously Alonso was off the pace throughout the whole race >.>" alonso busy talking on hands-free with his manager for his next year's job Anyway Kimi won....finally Narrow win too, who could have expected it this is karma, back then, Ron Dennis tried to sabo Renault's 2006 efforts by signing up alonso early. this year kena sabo back kawkaw. before the start of the season, if u bet Hamilton winning the championship, the bookies odds were around 1:100, i think. i pity the fella who was holding his 100 pound pre-season bet and having his hopes rising all year only to be let down at the end

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 22 2007, 02:11 AM) did he shout? i think he spoke in a monotone like he was in a funeral. i don't even dislike jenson or lewis but JA's over-exuberance at cheerleading the british drivers is overdone and a disservice to some fans who actually wants to watch the race. Brundle is 10 million times better as a commentator - he should just do 1 man show for next year |

QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 22 2007, 02:13 AM) i heard Brundle mentioning of kimi's rumored agreement with ferrari back in 2004. is it surprsing that ferrari wanted to secure another driver while waiting for MS to decide his retirement? massa has been nurtured for years, but his strength is more to driving and developing the car. maybe if he step up his game, he can get back the equal status for next year. |

i think quite a few viewers wanted james allen gone, long before jenson or lewis had a compettitve car. i think even our local commentator with a F1-live timing screen can do better than him

no mention of alonso next year's seat yet?
i think once alonso confirmed leaving, the media will have another field day stirring up controversy rgd what really happened behind the doors at mclaren. are all the mclaren pit crew caucasians? its always weird seeing LH's father as the only visible non-white in the garage any chance of montoya returning to the grid next year? i miss his antics. |

f1 without montoya - watching a train of cars from start to end for every race weekends
f1 with montoya - feels like 'reality TV" entertainment show Added on another thing to ponder about - are manufacturers allowed to supply customer engine+chassis to other independent teams next year? will be interesting to sell the backmarkers joining in the midfield tussle. other racing series can talk about core racing with no distractions.
f1 is now roughly 80% corporate sponsorship, so 80% of the time fans also talk about corporate f1 politics |

come to think of it - how did ferrari find out about the mass dampener in renault'06 cars? legitimate spying?
be interesting to see how the teams try to optimize their implementation of the standard ECU next year. |

was hoping alonso will join honda/toyota. those 2 teams have been under-performing for a long time. i think if get can 1 more driver's championship with renault, he'll most probably retire. here's to a great 2008 and more spying scandals - LoL.

dunno luck or what, but every year, the car alonso's in is faster and more competitive than the year before (except 2004).
i'm very surprised to hear rumors of big paycheck at renault. IINM, renault has always been a team with an efficient budget and their CEO is very cost-conscious. maybe sponsors are footing his salary. |
