I have Unifi fibre also as I want public IP as I host my own NAS。I use 5G for work from home activities as the upload performance way better than Unifi fibre, upload speed almost double ~50mbps vs ~100mbps。Plus this serve as my mobile internet when I work from my parent house in Penang (I stay at Kedah)
*
The reason i decide to see September unifi price reduction would be public ip too, using cgnat would be too troblesome to access nas at home..

is this better than yoodoo ? in terms of 4g ?
*
Yoodo is riding on Celcom's network and soon it will be combination of Celcom + DiGi

Umobile 4G is far worst than CelcomDiGi network

The appeal of this plan is probably the cheapest entry to DNB's 5G for now

4G try not use CA, lock to band 28 should be able to get u 30-50mbps

Hi, may I know how do I lock the band to 28, is this only doable on mobile phone or router?
I'm currently using TP-Link Archer MR 500 4G+ Cat 6, download speed is capped around 20 mbps, anyway to make it faster?

Thanks.

Can this TPLink Deco X50-5g support U Home 5G? thinking to try it but big investment tongue.gif
Saw some seller selling RM11xx

i not yet perform speedtest with Umobile line, but with Digi line can get 3-400Mbps with phone.
i guess umobile should be similar because all using same DNB infra right?

Some people preferred plan with modem device, some want sim only plan

This umobile plan is same as YES wireless fiber 5G
minus bundle 5G device, no contract and ringgit friendly

Umobile target different type of user
everybody happy
win win

Sorry would like to ask, is this plan able to use on 4G huawei modem & generate 4G connection?

since im using I150 for my home usage, feel like change to a cheaper plan.

Yes, but with much slower speed... ~10-50Mbps DL, and 10-30Mbps UL depend modem model.
Waiting friends B618-65D(BEST 4G Modem) to verify best speed can achieve by 4G modem.

i am using MR600. try to search signal in your house. in my house different location will give me different speed. the rotation/position of your antena also will impact your speed also. mine manage to get from about 16MB to average 40MB and sometime in midnight can go up to 60MB. i am using unifi air btw.

Usually auto band will select band 3, if you router able to select band , try lock on Band 28, you get higher speed!

It has been two weeks now using UHome 5G. Now I have bought the NR5103E 3 UK version, I am quite happy with the speed and stability. I disabled the wifi for the Zyxel modem and use a spare Asus AC59V2 as AP.
Using the Zyxel modem, the speed is around 300-390Mbps but using the Asus router via AP I manage to get consistently more than 500Mbps
