yep, grow up in Penang...

KTM X-bow? RM400k isn't it? lolss

Tropicana Motor expanding all over in malaysia now...

all the current 600cc class will put the smile on your face, just pick either one and never have to look back... if you ask me again I'll still say I wanted the R6 brows.gif

*
Nope... Cross Bow is 500k ++...

I just love the way Daytona looks & sounds... Oso the performance.. brows.gif

Wanna be diff... laugh.gif

R6, well real pretty... but then lotsa ZX2 converting to R6... sad.gif

The reviewer oso said that R6 got poor ergonomics & worse handling of the bunch... But they do praise about the front end, feels planted to the ground...

Hi,

Just want a check with all sifu. Is all sportbike range >Rm 70K+ (example: Zx6r, CBr600rr, R6, GXR600, 848) in factory form; can adjust the suspension height?

Since my objective want to lower down the seat height as I feel tip toe to support a >170kg bike takes a lot physical strength compare you able lay flat foot on the ground while waiting for the light go green or squeeze through tight traffic.

yes, it is adjustable...

make sure the suspension is set up for your weight...
*
Meaning there is guideline or limit how much to lower depending on my weight or I need tell the mechanic my weight so he can set the height accordingly?

No... It is adjustable to your liking... But such adjustment wiill have pros & cons... If too low, maybe u'll sacrifice comfort but better handling... ohmy.gif

actually I'm not good at this stuff, so I let people do it..

I went to Sunvay Cycles located at PJ, I just told them I need some adjustment for the balancing, they just do everything for me...

last time my R1 handlebar making some ticking noise when going thru a bumpy road, something went looses.. after the adjustment the noise has gone brows.gif..

not bad at all...

Hi, have something that need your help lol tongue.gif

what causes the bike to stuttering/choke at low rpm? is not really that bad, you can feels it when you close the throttle and back on gas, the problem does not always occur... not smooth now sad.gif... it get worse when the bike running hot for a while... happended only in 1st 2nd (the worst) and 3rd gear..

if you drive above 6k rpm is fine...

things that in my mind:

1. throttle position sensor/ throttle body sync
2. ignition coils
3. kinked fuel line
4. spark plugs fuked
5. exup valve?  rclxub.gif

which one do you think is the main cause?

see what your mechanic have to say  tongue.gif

tried before, so many possibility, might be the slip-on is messing with it, for time being, the AF has changed... have your 06 give you any problems? how many miles on it? unsure.gif
*
I hv no such problem so far. My 06 is only around 26000km. Yours is new so better get authorized Yamaha to check. See also the service manual before u do self diagnose. Hope it will help

One of the possible cause is the O2 sensor located at the exhaust header....

Without or with ruined O2 sensor, ECU will have trouble with AF mixture....

Other possible cause is ur slip ons... It is suggested that bikes equipped with aftermarket exhaust to be tuned...

.... If spark plug were the culprit, ur bike will feel abit underpowered due to the uneven firing (lol ur bike has uneven firing... U know what I mean)..

U know spark plug fails when u were running with 3 cylinder or less.. The sound... laugh.gif not like triumph triple but kancil triple... Haha...

I think diagnostic check will solve this...

26000km? cool!

you bought the bike new back in 06? if yes when you started to throw the pipe, pc, and lot's of other mod into it? and do you plan to have it's first valve job done?
*
I bought used (at 19k km) from my old friend. Most of the parts already there with low mileage of usage before he decided to let it go to me. Due to long summer, mostly bike here is low on mileage. It was vary good bargain with nearly 10k usd worth of parts, accessories and freebies which not yet installed on the bike when i bought it.

Valve should be checked at 42k km from the service manual but i would like to do when i clocked 35-38k kn.

Me explain more symptom.... laugh.gif

TPS & TB prob = Unstable idle... power loss at certain RPM... or better known as flat spot...

Ignition coil = Very hard to start the bike & engine easily dies when the coil gets hotter...

Fuel rail/line = Bike will be underpowered... Breathless engine due to insufficient fuel supply & low fuel presure... Sometimes even if u full throttle,
the engine won't even climb till the redline... As if got power cut...

Spark Plug = explained...

Valve prob( Bent, misaligned etc) = If valve snapped then ur bike oredy in workshop... tongue.gif Valve misaligned/ slight bent : Sometimes u will hear
crakkk sound...This is because the valve was misaligned...
Black smoke from exhaust =DUe to the valve were out of shape or maybe wworn out... But this is also a sign
of worn piston rings....

Another possible problem is clutch prob... ohmy.gif

But then ur bike is very new to experience such prob... Me think most likely ur slip on system... laugh.gif

This can be solved with a quick fix.... Dismantle ur slip on system... Use ur original muffler back...
Give the Akra Slip on to me for free.... ( I'll study the prob) brows.gif brows.gif tongue.gif laugh.gif

good info right there, shops told me bike feels normal, no problem...

seems like tuning is the only thing to do now, and it is a pain the the ass to get into the spark plugs...

if I put the silencer back it runs smoother, removing the slip-on is another problem too, because I tack-weld it already lol... shakehead.gif
*
Yup ur bike is just too new, to get such prob....

Sad u can't remove the muffler... (NO free Muffler for me... tongue.gif cry.gif )

I think need to tune la....
