Better itemised the price according to brand Good quality brand worth with the price. Nxt year usage more than 600kwh no more rebate, all follow market price |

QUOTE(sakaic @ Jun 9 2023, 07:08 PM) Why would you need a battery? Whatever you generate will just minus back using NEM right? So it will just knock blocks off from your bill When he talks about battery I already know he doesn’t know much about solar. |

For info people who kept saying solar doesn't need battery, NEM 3.0 will only setback your extra generation for 10 years only. After 10 years, you probably need to look up for battery to store it alexei liked this post

QUOTE(Boy96 @ Jun 13 2023, 03:22 AM) can get some discounts if you have cimbhttps://deals.cimb.com/my/E-Commerce/Solaro...a9-f7783b14b86f that said, i've used their solar panels on my factory (more than 5 years ago), it had some problems and 80% of their panels failed, they said due to weather here causing the panels to deteriorate (rubbers getting harden) quicker, water seeped into electrical circuits and basically killing the panels. They've since replaced those panels, so far so good, crossing my fingers. |

After 10 years, you probably need to look up for battery to store it Depends on your usage. There are other possibilities. Like 1. Subscribe to NEM13.0 by then or whatever name they call it. 2. Self consumption without battery - cover morning usage for free 3. Self consumption with battery - battery by the time could be way cheaper and more reliable. 4. Diy into other projects thst u want. Went to Prefect Living 2023 at mid valley and Path Green quoted me
1) package B (RM 24K) - 6.06 KWP, 12 panels and 3 micro inverters 2) package C (arM 30k) - 8.08 KWP, 16 panels and 3 micro inverters But just asking only without negotiating with them on the price |

QUOTE(aerotec @ Oct 2 2023, 04:02 PM) Hi the Budget 2024 announcement on the 13th Oct, care to share if u think the terms will be better that NEM 3.0? Nem is to offset the cost of installing solar panel. Right now the cost ithas gone down, so don’t think it is going to be any better. Maybe only 5-8 years of contract instead of 10. In nem4.0. Or maybe a fix buy rate from Tnb. I don’t think nem has any thing to do with the budget. It’s an initiative to encourage solar adopter. |
