how u derive that? no repair center for ukrainian leopard means German will give 300+ to them? can explain more before i say you just pull out from your ass.
*
Based on what I found, Poland had about 250 Leopard 2 of various variants (ok i said 300 earlier so that bad math on me)

The Poles bought K2 and Abrams. If you didn't stick your head up your arse, maybe you might have read about it by now.

https://www.defensenews.com/global/europe/2...s-procurements/

They're also going to build the K2 locally as well eventually, because the Koreans, unlike the Germans seem quite generous about sharing their tech.

https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/poland-to-p...sh-army/2835927

So there's some politics involved here.

There are no new Leopard 2 hulls being built for quite a while now. All the 2A5,6,7 are mainly being upgraded from old 2A4 hulls. There's plenty of politics even between allies. When you consider the logistics, politics, money etc., kinda makes sense that Poland is probably more than willing to donate their leopards to reduce their maintenance and logistics overhead. Which is why putting a leopard 2 repair hub in Poland is not really appealing to either the Germans or Poles in the long term.

Arms exports is a complex thing and German reluctance to donate Leopards earlier on sort of soured the reputation of the leopard 2 as the premier European tank of choice anyways. Once the Abrams arrive, the possibility of the Poles releasing more of their Leopard 2 stock is there.

things must be pretty bad & dire for the russian troops at his commanding sector for him to bring light to the situation risking his removal from his post.

"A difficult situation with the leadership emerged. It was a choice between remaining silent and afraid and saying what they wanted to hear, or calling things for what they are. In your name, in the name of all perished comrades-in-arms, I didn’t have the right to lie. Hence I named all the problems that exist today in the army regarding operations, supply. I pointed the attention to the most important tragedy of the modern war - the lack of counter-battery fire, lack of artillery reconnaissance stations, and mass casualties and injuries of our brothers from enemy artillery."

maybe the Ukrainian strategy to attrit the enemy is working?

Russian general in Ukraine removed for strategy criticism: Report
https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2023/7/13/ru...riticism-report

Moscow’s military leadership has reportedly dismissed Major-General Ivan Popov, commander-in-chief of Russia’s 58th Combined Arms Army stationed in southern Ukraine, over his concerns for troops fighting without rest and criticism of Russian battlefield strategy.

it stated it was poland that is charging a high fee to german to build repair centers for ukrainian tanks. Maybe next time u can substantiate abit lar from your post. Not everyone nerdy enough to study which country buy what kind of thanks, especially military alliance like USNATO that prefer war over peace.

Not interested in anything Putin says. It's all half-truths and bald faced lies anyway.

The proposals would also include a 15-year consultation period on the status of annexed Crimea and could come into force only in the event of a complete ceasefire, the negotiators told reporters in Istanbul. The proposals are the most detailed and concrete that Ukraine has aired publicly

Yes it's just speculation. I already provided the necessary facts on Poland's long term move to the Abrams and K2. The rest is up to the reader. The failure of the deal between the Germans and Poles is just that. Up to you what to make of it. Poland has been very generous so far with aid to Ukraine. So i think it's not unreasonable to make such speculation.

March 2022. When you have a gun on your head, it's options offered under duress anyway.
