Btw guys, is the fact that jailbreaking your iPod can make it loose the sensitivity of the touch screen. Restored mine to 1.1.2 and sent to service centre cause my iPod has touch screen problem.

The technician called me up and said it's doing good. sigh~

...but I don't think that jailbreaking can cause this problem, I'm sure we all know well about Apple's first batch products.

Very unlikely that jailbreak is the root of the problem.

I guess it's hardware problem, I demanded for a new replacement unit but they refused and they try so hard to fix it. Lousy service!

They were polite so no problem about that, now have to wait 7 working days for my new replacement unit. Good luck with your iPhone.

I've had a friend jailbreak my 16GB iPod Touch which now has all the 5 apps working fine. May I know if anyone has been able to add KLCI (Kuala Lumpur Composite Index) into the Stock app? I've added Hang Seng and S'pore Straits Times Index but have been unable to find KLCI. What are the key words I should try? I've already tried KLCI, KL Composite Index, Kuala Lumpur Composite Index, Bursa Saham, Bursa Malaysia. Is there a specific keyword? Thanks

downgrade to 1.1.1 1st and then only jailbreak

I've updated the 1st post. It is now focused solely on jailbreaking. I'd like to see more people sharing their icons, themes, mods, etc. Then probably we could have another thread (or just continue it from here) on customizing the iPod touch =) Cheers.

can i know what is the best way to jailbreak? is it downgrade to 1.1.1 and jailbreak and update to 1.1.2 jailbreak or i should update to 1.1.4 and jailbreak with ziphone 2.5?

How long it takes for you to download 16XMB files by using WiFi ?
Does it hang up after 45 minutes by using iPodTouchMaster method as mentioned ?
Or it ran smoothly when you upgrade it from v1.1.2 to v1.1.4 ??

I've used that method too, just leave it for 3 hours max. My ADSL modem didn't blink, if blink means download. Then leave 30 minutes and manually hold power+home button to restart. After that, a jailbroken 1.1.4.

It's not hang, but it looks like it is. Just restart and you're in 1.1.4.
