Hi expert here,

Mine already jailbroken..but 1 thing b4 i "fully satisfy"
with my thouch is..how u guys make "two home screen"
without having to fill the 1st home screen to full of icon?

Mine can only go to 2nd home screen (by swipt to left) when 1st one full of icon..
Maybe after install summerboard i guess..

and is it possible for us to drag around the icon?

in Summerboard there's an option to clear the last line of icons, so it can limit icons to 4X3 instead of 4X4 icons. To rearrange icons u can use Customize.

But remember though that Summerboard is not compatible with firmware 1.1.3. But if you purchase the Apple USD20 January Software Update you can rearrange your icons as you like, even you don't need to fully fill the first homescreen to get next icons to next homescreen. It's total control. It's great!

woo..its super useful..never come across to that since i alredy install summerboard quite sometime. rclxms.gif

will consider 20 bucks upgrade someday when its easier, cheaper n more "convinient" to do so..Thanks LaskarCinta

Define convenient and easier? smile.gif I mean, how much easier could it get? It's pretty much a one-touch thing using iTunes, unless of course you don't have an iTunes account with credits? Perhaps they should consider selling the upgrade in box packaging at retail outlets, ehh? smile.gif

So ka? hmm..maybe im too new here.my 1st apple product fella..

I succesfully upgradeded mine to jailbroken 1.1.3. the thing is, all
previously installed apps (such as psx4all, summerboard etc.) gone..

Is it normal guys? I can still see the apps listed in Uninstall section in installer btw.

Yup..same as mine..
Summerboard is the only problem..
Without it we cant change the theme unless
using FTP client right?
Why should i miss the important step..haiyyaa..

Added on January 31, 2008, 1:31 pmFor anyone who have the same problem as me (Summerboard stuck after 1.1.3 upgrade) can try this
solution (using FTP Client):

1. First backup then edit the private/var/mobile/Library/Installer/LocalPackages.plist file to remove the summerboard program. just remove everything from the first <dict> to the last </dict> for summerboard only.
2. Backup then edit system>Libary>Core Services>systemversion.plist to change the version number from 1.1.3 to 1.1.2.
3. Restart phone then install summerboard again.

You should now be good to go!

I found it on Hackintosh.org Forum.Thanks to Sabad66!!
Please be aware that I never try this method n do at ur own risk smile.gif

exactly..the best thing so far is stick with 1.1.2..
if still want to use 1.1.3 with "fancy" wiggling icon try not to use
ipodtouchmaster method (if summerboard is ur no 1 best friend) and using dev team official 1.1.3 upgrade is the best solution so far..which work fine with latest summerboard
(with some minor issue)..

me once using ipodouchmaster method but hv trouble wif summerboard.
Now im trying dev team method back from scratch..
jailbreaking itself is part of the fun rite? biggrin.gif

Does anyone know how can we check production date of our itouch?
or batch number etc.?

I heard the 1st to 2nd or 3rd batch have hardware problem related to
touchscreen is it true?

Mine sometime play, pause, next icon lose its sensitivity. but its happen very rarely.
