Good for quick relief. But not going to fix anything permanently.

Very subjective depending on which type of massage do you personally prefer.

Massage chair mostly felt like cheap Chinese massage, without happy ending.

If you expecting to experience proper massage, those 5 figures cat nap palace wont match your expectation.

Thank you TS for opening this tread. I have heel spurs issue, slight discomfort when walking bare footed but I can live with it.
I saw Chris Leong's heel spurs treatment and wonders if it really works? I'm not keen on surgery but I'm skeptical about the way how Chris uses a small rod to break up the spurs through force

I have golfers elbow on both arms, I currently stopped working out or stopped lifting heavy. It has now healed to a certain degree but still bothering me after more than 3 months. My elbow tendons still feel sore and tender sometimes.
Pls advice me on the rightful professional consultation. Thank you.

I would say tit tar basically is a temporary solution, it's fine if you have extra money and only to be used in mild but chronic long standing problem ( such as sores and pain), fractures realignment should be seen by a proper orthopaedic doctor with x rays done before and after aligning

I would say tit tar for back pain!/sores helps to relieve temporaryilysubsequently it should be followed by back strengthening exercise and improving your daily lifestyle, such as proper posture, using your knees to lift object on the ground instead of bending your back, and most importantly a good bed, with good back support, ill suggests bed like serta or goodnite

Massage chair improves blood circulation on the part of muscle, it also reduces pain and unknot those sore muscle which is due to daily bad posture, such as looking at phone or on the computer

So if it's worth it, it's up to you, probably your wife and children can help. To massage too, would produce the same effect
If you need it try to think back on your daily activity for the root of the problem

It is 1of my goal to have 1 in the future, when I have extra cash to spend

Heel spurs or heel pain which is the back part of ankle, aka retro calcaneal bursitis or achilles tendon bursitis is frequently confuse with plantar fasciitis which is at the sole of foot, so firstly make sure it is the heel or back part of ankle and not the back part of sole, secondly heel spur it is usually due to wearing boots or tight shoes which cause rubbing at the back part of ankle.

What can be done is icing and avoid those tight footwear, wear thick socks or padding, breaking the bone spurs i guess will be painful and unlikely to be helpful, we do not recommend surgery as well
Next step would be very low dose of corticosteroid injection done by expert, not to be done multiple times as risk rupturing tendon, but effects i got were fantastic

Do you think yours maybe a plantar fasciitis instead

1. How to avoid knee/joint issue when old? I am 31 now.
2. I had a knee injury in 21km run marathon as I did not stretch + raining + overexerted myself. Took 6 years to recover using acupunture and heat tech so no feeling now. Pls advice if this injury may recur and what to do to resolve it.

Always had tight calf muscles (with painful if go for oil massage) that persist even long after exercise.

Massage/massage gun can resolve shirt term but if exercise again, the knots will come back. How to resolve this for good?

I had once twisted my knee during futsal game and a loud pop! sounded, doc said I tore my ligament or something and that within a year or so should be ok. Now more than 10 years still have issue where I can't even sprint or jump from anything higher than a meter and sometime when abruptly stopping during fast walk (say in the airport) my knee locked and dislocated and had to twist and rotate to "put it back"

Any chance a surgery can fix this? how long is the recuperation time? Can get back to normal routine such as running etc?

Thank you for the thorough explanation. My symptoms tells me that I have heel spurs when I go bare footed which I will avoid now. It feels like there are tissues attached to my heel bone. Now I chooses well support and padded shoes and trainers.

The right professional would be a sport physician ( doctor who specializes in sport related injury), but this case can be seen by any orthopaedic surgeon or even normal clinic doctor who has enough knowledge,

So golfers elbow happen in the inner part of your elbow, due to injury
During racquet sports or heavy lifting or constant vibration from drilling
You Can refer to this link, for the test to confirm if its golfer elbow( medial epicondylitis)
https://youtu.be/WBBiJYYtf5o
Usually an x ray is done to rule out fracture initially, then we cn confirm diagnosis by clinical examinations however mri would be the best modality bt unnecessary
Since its been 3months and healing, a gradual strengthening exercise should be done for your rehab, another method to relieve it is to go for SINGLE low dose steroid injection, done in many athlete to reduce the inflamamtion and hasten healing
A warm pack can help the soreness and elbow brace when doing activity to distribute the load

Do also note that steroid injection is not the same as anabolic steroid taken by gym users

Seems like you might have a knee injury previously, could be chondral/cartillage, meniscus or ligament injury of knee, usually meniscus and ligament injury should be repaired by operation however if your pain has subside should be fine if there's no giving away sensation!/ loss of balance, locking of knee, pain or swelling. However seeing a doctor to assess is better

To avoid this condition from becoming worse, you should aim not to be overweight as it will add burden to your knee, other activities such as hiking especially going down slope cn damage the knee.

Strengthening your quadriceps muscle also helps reduce the load on your knee, wearing knee brace

Other supplement to take, are like glucosamine or piasclidine, however if you don't find it beneficial after taking for like 2-3 months, then you can just stop it

Our knee works in a wonderful way where if no pressure is given, the cartillage will be thinner and lesser lubricant produce leading to early osteoarthritis or kurang minyak, however if excessive load is given you will damage the knee joint cartillage, gradual strength training such as squats will benefit or HIIT exercises

If injury reoccur acute management are icing, resting and visiting a doctor for consultation

How old are you, when does the tightness occur, are you very active in sports, what sports you do, do you have cramps at night, any other illness
