it's best to do your own research.. wait for another month or so the price should go back down. for 860 you should get a minimum of these items:

1. PSP slim and lite standard pack (meaning with charger all those la)
2. 4gb memory card (ahem one)
3. few DVD games
4. screen protector
5. crystal casing/pouch

Ya, Chinese New Year is around the corner, i am worry they will rise up the price, so i will think just to get the basic package like what u mention nod.gif
I have a survey at Sungai Wang and Low Yat, is around RM850 too.

Thanks for your info!! notworthy.gif

It's not the firmware's problem. It's your game. Loco-roco can be played on 3.40OE-A.

something to ask

can we just shut down our console from the game save point?

or do we need to exit the game then only off the console?

for PSP u can shut off at anytime , as long as u are not in the middle of saving the game or loading something (damage).

u can standby the psp too at any point, but its best not 2 do so when u are saving / loading as well

so it will not damage the console?

because the staff of the shop told me that exit until the XBM then only turn off the console.

there's 2 method to bring off the PSP

one is completely turn it off, which is done by pulling the switch longer, the next time u open it will show sony computer entertainment screen

another one is to switch it in sleep mode, just a little twitch on the switch, u can make a PSP sleep at any moment, just beware not to put the psp to sleep when the MSPD light is blinking, this method will use a little more batt power, as the content inside RAM will need to be preserved when sleeping

i seem to be doing this often ler.. its so freaking sensitive.. cause whn i watch my video on psp. i mostly put it on hold. thn whn i wanna pause i hv to release the switch. which would 90% trigger the sleep mode!!!

Sony Announces Full Skype PSP Details

user posted image

Sony today announced that it would introduce Skype features to the new slim and light PSP handheld entertainment system (PSP-2000 series). More than 246 million members are registered for the use of this communications software, which enables users to communicate with other Skype users around the world over the Internet. Calls between Skype users are free of charge.

By introducing Skype on PSP, the following features and services will be made available to PSP users:

* Free voice calls between Skype users
* Skype contact list management (view existing contacts, add new ones)
* Skype presence (see which friends are online and available to talk)
* SkypeOut calls to make calls to landlines and mobile phones anywhere in the world (requires the purchase of Skype credit)
* Optional SkypeIn number that lets users receive calls on Skype from landlines and mobiles anywhere in the world (requires the purchase of Skype credit)
* View and modify Skype settings and account details (including username creation, SkypeOut settings, voicemail settings and call forwarding)

PSP users worldwide will be able to start using Skype features and services through a simple system software update scheduled in late January. After updating the PSP system software, a Skype icon will be added to the Network category in the home menu. PSP users who do not yet have a Skype username can register by clicking the icon and following the instructions. PSP users who already have a Skype username can immediately sign in by clicking the Skype icon and entering their username and password.

* For more information on Skype, please visit www.skype.com

(1) To enjoy Skype features on PSP, users will need Memory Stick Duo™, a wireless Internet connection and a Skype-compatible audio input device.
(2) In order to receive calls, users must be connected to the Internet and signed in through the Skype screen on PSP.

Sony intros 16GB Memory Stick Duo

user posted image

Sony's finally getting really, really serious about the Memory Stick. The company is launching a hefty 16GB version of its loved / hated MS Duo. There's not much else. It's a Memory Stick Duo. It's 16GB. It will be available in March for $300. Enjoy.
