Need help here..
I just buy psp slim today..my current version is 3.71 m33-3..I want to update to m33-4..
What should I do..What kernel should I set..
Is it the same way as upgrading the fat psp or different..
Just worried..

some themes u can use cxmb if u are afraid to flash it.

so all we need to do is just replace the flash0 files with something via the USB toggle in the BIOS 380 cfw and we get the sexy interfaces ? 

Haiz wish it was english tho,not really understand malay so sry. Anyone mind tell me those simple step on how to get to 3.80 M33-4?

Currently on 3.80 M33

just upgraded to 3.80 m33-5
everything seems ok, no problem at all

PSP firmware 3.90 is now available via Network Update, and as expected, includes Skype for PSP Slim units only. Here is the full changelog:

Requirements:

- Installation requires a PSP with 3.52 M33-3 or higher.

Instructions

- Copy the UPDATE folder into /PSP/GAME/
- Get the 3.90 sony update from somewhere, and put it in same folder, with name "390.PBP".
Alternatively, you can let the installer to download for you via wifi.
- Run it, the update will be done by Sony updater. At the end when you are asked to reboot the
PSP pressing X or O, do it.


Changes:

- 3.80 -> 3.90
- March33 NO UMD: fixed (yet another) bug related with exiting with home. (infinite semaphore wait)


Changes in updater:

- The degeneration check and correction of IDS keys happens too in 3.71 now.
- Added code to download 3.90 PBP from net via wifi.
Note that his code is not yet 100% stable, it may crash when selecting AP. In that case,
reinit the installer.
- L+triangle has been restored as method to bypass battery.
If you already have 390.PBP keep those buttons pressed until you see "Veryfing 390.PBP".
If the 390.PBP is being downloaded bia wifi, press those buttons at the end of download until
you see the previous sentence.

actually those thing are stored in ROM.both fat and slim i guess have the same amount of ROM to store firmware.i think the kernel update took so much space inside.that's why cant do much about xmb.i tried a few such as justfonts theme.but ur's organ theme can be successfully stored.only i cant find good wallpaper to match it.hehehe..

Guys. Need ur help here. I tried to download ver 3.9 from dark_alex. When it tried to install it says that need to download 3.9.pbp file. So, after i dowloaded that file, i tried to install it but then it says that file is incorrect.

What do i do next as really want to update the file. By the way, what is nand dump & how do i get / install / use that program.

CFW is not illegal. CFW are meant to run homebrews. dont confused between homebrews and iso's.
iso's mean piracy.homebrew's are not.understand that.
