QUOTE(mzaidi @ Dec 14 2007, 07:14 AM) » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « 1) Download the update files. It'll be in a zip file with 3 folders inside. The only one we want is the "UPDATE" folder. 2) Make sure that your PSP is on firmware 3.71 M33 / 3.71 M33-2 / 3.71 M33-3. Go to "Settings > System Settings > System Information" to check. Do not proceed if your PSP is not on any of these firmware.3) Connect your PSP to your PC with a memory stick inside the PSP. Copy the "UPDATE" folder to your /PSP/GAME/ directory on the memory stick 4) Disconnect PSP from your PC, 5) Go to the "GAME > Memory Stick", you'll see the update will be listed there. Run the update and follow the on-screen instruction. It'll take less than 10 seconds to complete. The PSP will restart automatically after update complete. You can delete the installer from the memory stick after update complete. jus wanna ask.. how come u need to connect the psp to pc? why cannot jus copy the files directly into the mspd using a memorycardreader? or is tat possible too. hagha sry guys.. newbie here. haha

the additional ram basically is sony's intention to lengthen the battery life by caching the UMD more thn keeping on reading for it..
homebrew programmers and like use it to their advantage.

QUOTE(dattebayo @ Jan 6 2008, 09:02 PM) there's 2 method to bring off the PSP one is completely turn it off, which is done by pulling the switch longer, the next time u open it will show sony computer entertainment screen another one is to switch it in sleep mode, just a little twitch on the switch, u can make a PSP sleep at any moment, just beware not to put the psp to sleep when the MSPD light is blinking, this method will use a little more batt power, as the content inside RAM will need to be preserved when sleeping i seem to be doing this often ler.. its so freaking sensitive.. cause whn i watch my video on psp. i mostly put it on hold. thn whn i wanna pause i hv to release the switch. which would 90% trigger the sleep mode!!!
