actly what happened to ur mapking?

me also dunno, i think its following the date which the mapking is created. but when it got signal from stelite, immediately the time and date will change to current. as long as the mapking can use, i dun care.

after using P750 for few days, it strongly feel that its definitely faster than my earlier PDA. and more stable, but then since we are advised not to install SPB, i felt its trouble to go into programs. last time SPB can have short cuts on TODAY, now have to go into program.

nope i have not. the forum is advising user not to install cos will result in constant hang. i dun dare to try

owh...can try SBSH Papyrus/Facade...oso got Today Screen. im using it and quite stable...

i've used SPB pocket plus on the Asus P750 and SPB Diary with no problems whatsoever on wm6.0 but SPB Menu had problems

6.1 works great for all of them but I don't quite like the SPB Menu on the p750.

Flashing it to VGA ROM is really good!! Only thing abt the p750 is the tiny amt of RAM
When you want to do browsing and multitasking its quite a pain

Other that that, I love that PDA especially the hardware phone keypad. If it had something like 256mb RAM or more like the HTC models, I'd be using it instead.

yea VGA ROM is fantastic.. once ur on VGA, you dun wanna go back to QVGA
Asus guys really should have put more ram in the p750..
miss that PDA.

maybe u got MMS your phone trying to receive? is any program that uses 3G running? is weather trying to auto update?

maybe auto update...just go thru task manager and kill unused software that running

I read in another forum that you can toggle between russian and english language.

"press and hold the circle button on the lower left hand corner of the phone.
it will toggle bettween 2 languange.
russian and english.
toggle to english and soft reset the phone.
check if it solve your problem."

Does this help to solve your problem? What is your average free memory left at night? Still around 13MB?

The latest VGA ROM i came across so far is the v1.02.

yep2 v1.02 it is.....mine..after restart around 20mb ..then thru a day, 13-15mb left..im not using a lot of third party software.

When I saw that solution in another forum, I remembered the problem that you are facing, and thought it might help. Oh well.

Do you use software like Refresh Memory (Oxious Hibernate) to free memory anytime during the day? When you get 13-15 MB left, is that purely on it's own or even after you have used the Refresh Memory program?
I use a LOT of third party software. I also use GPS and Mapking a lot too. I'm still not sure if I should upgrade or not.

it's on its own...after kill all the running software still left 15mb but it came up to 20mb after soft reset...

i think its the weather + GPS catcher program that activate the data line. Thanks.

by the way, anyone use Invisible Shield on P750 before? is it as good as advertised? I only afraid that after i stick that, the phone will become very "plastic".
