using with Nokia Bluetooth and Motorola... its ok...no prob..but last time had problem with samsung's and Itech..

Really? My shortlisted bluetooth headset is actually the Itech Clip II or the Arrow Lite model...luckily I checked here first. Mind sharing, what exactly is the problem?

My other shorlisted model is the sony ericsson one...does anyone know if this works okay with P750?

Hi guys..jz wanna ask..in the asustek support there got 2 rom upgrade to wm6.1..which one to choose?very confuse..one is on 25/7/2008 and the other is 19/8/2008...both oso rom upgrade but 1 is
1. Solve system hang issue
2. Solve "can`t wake up occasionally" issue
3. Solve system hangs issue caused by CE-Star application
4. Upgrade your P750 to latest Windows Mobile 6.1 version
5. Add "E" icon under edge connection
6. Fix the bug that P750 couldn't video call with K850I

the other is
1. ROM upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.1.
2. Upgrade the radio FW to V4.6.8-P1 which improve the sound quality and call stability

Did anyone face any problem after upgrading from Mobile 6.0 to 6.1?

Mine one before upgrade, after i selected "Maxis (3G)" in start -> settings -> network settings. It will save there even after i soft-reset the device. But after I upgraded it to 6.1, this settings can't seem to be saved because after each soft-reset, it will automatically select "Maxis" again. I even go to maxis center to change a new SIM card but problem still exist.

When I am using 6.0, my spb GPRS monitor can monitor my GPRS usage but now cannot (after upgrade). Anyone face the same problem?

I'm planning to buy a bluetooth headset, but I read somewhere that not all bluetooth model will work with P750.

Anyone here using bluetooth headset with their P750...? Which brand/model do you use...and how's the comfort and sound quality?
*
Really? Not all bluetooth headset can use? No wonder my bluetooth always lost connection with my P750, it is very frustrating especially while you are driving. You don't know when the connection goes off.... mad.gif

wah, phahmeen, your problem seems like more serious than mine. I went to the service center and asked, they said the phone network settings can't save the settings is a known issue. they have feedback to Taiwan some more BUT no solution yet. sad.gif

That's what I read on another forum, can't remember which ones. But I think most of the problem can be solved with Asus's bluetooth hotfix. By the way, which bluetooth model do you use?

I just bought Bluetrek Mini Clip bluetooth. So far it's pretty good, the mic and speaker volume is loud and clear. Got voice notification that says my bluetooth is connected to my phone. Much better than ITech clip ii. I'm thinking of buying another bluetooth headset, this time one with the ear hook. biggrin.gif But the few ones I tested last weekend, the sound was very soft. Need to go to the shops and tests some more.

Haiii...the QoS in Asus Center, I really don't know how to comment it.

First of all, my phone got no more with the MS WORD, EXCEL and so on, hang issue. But the network settings still can't save my 3G profile settings.

When I use Garmin XT, it get shutdown and windows said, read violation to certain memory address. Before sending this machine to repair, I got no problem. I suspect after they change the motherboard, the problem arise.

Hi, how's your P750...got it back from Asus Service Centre? So I take it you have removed the VGA ROM and revert back to the original?

Although I was tempted, I never installed the VGA ROM on my phone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. smile.gif

Anyway...a few months back, I had this problem:

QUOTE(denver @ Oct 8 2008, 03:19 PM)
My Celcom phone bill came in today, and I noticed that I was charged under 3G Data Usage for Mobile Internet = RM55.40! Wow, why so much? I never used mobile internet, never use IE or Opera to browse the internet in the last month. How come I'm charged with this high amount?

Could it be because the P750 chooses the Celcom 3G as the default network, and as such, even normal calls also they charge under 3G? Anyone else have this problem? How to solve?
*
Now, the problem seems to be getting worse. I posted this in another thread, but I'm re-posting it here in case any P750 users have had similar problems or knows how to solve this.

QUOTE(denver @ Dec 2 2008, 10:36 PM)
I also have a similar problem. In my Celcom bill this month, my 3G Data Usage (Mobile Internet) was close to RM120! The problem is, I never used IE or surfed the internet using my PDA at all. So I complaint to Celcom thinking there was some sort of billing error. Now that I've read this thread, could it be that one of the software in my PDA (Asus P750) is making some sort of automatic connections to the internet without my knowledge?

Here are the list of software installed on my PDA that may be the caused. I didn't put in software like games and converters, which I think is very unlikely to be the cause. If anyone knows if any of these software listed below make automatic connections to the internet, do let me know and I'll uninstall it.

ActiveSync
App to Date
Backup
GPS Catcher
Group SMS
iContact
IE
Opera Browser
Internet Sharing
Location Courier
Meeting Time Planner
Messenger
NewsStation
Outlook Contacts
No Plugin  Today
paAlarm
Remote Desktop Mobile
Remote Presenter
Streaming Layer
Travel Log
Voice Commander
Windows Live
World Card Mobile
Mapking 2007
Core Player
IM
Realone Player
Pocket Streamer Deluxe
Syswatch
Calender +
TodayAgenda
PhoneAlarm
TaskPlus

Any way to check the details of my 3G Data Usage (Mobile Internet) via the PDA? If you know any software listed above that could make automatic internet connections, do let me know. Thanks.
*
Any ideas? Is there any software which can monitor which program is making 3G / GPRS connections without my knowledge?
