i bought mine @ PDA Expert MidValley RM27xx. Upgrading from Asus P525 to Asus P750. Lot more better thatn P525.
Pro: - Last time i used P525, the 'joystick' give me a lot of problem while scrolling. But with P750, the joystick very2 responsive. - Using WM6. - GPS Connection very fast!. Not like N95...take longer time and sometime no connection at all. PDA Expert guy kind enough to install mapking with malaysia map. - Jog Dial button at the left side. easy to scroll when driving... - Accesories in Box - Car kit holder, car charger, 2 stylus, 2 battery, cable handsfree. - App fast! - Tough built - Great Sound Cons - No flash for camera - RAM 64mb |

QUOTE(meister @ Dec 28 2007, 01:16 AM) thanks for the anwer. I do suspect my desjtop is USB 1.0 actly for P750 contact, it follows T9 style....if u wan to search for "STEVEN" just press 783836. Contact named STEVEN will appear, together with the one tat their phone number started with 783836..What about "1. When i go to "Contacts", when I press the numeric buttons to for alphabets to search for names - sometimes the Numbers appear instead of the Alphabets"??? thanks in advance Can oso straight away press while in TODAY SCREEN... but i u really wan to make it alphabetically. go to contact, tap/touch/move cursor to the "enter a name..." box. hold star (*) button until the menu for Text input appear.. just select using number 1,2,3,....whether u wan T9, text, number, symbols..... hope tis will help Added on December 29, 2007, 6:08 am QUOTE(spayre @ Dec 28 2007, 11:13 PM) hi folks, reporting on the new hotfix on the Asus P750. It claim support to solve power consumption (someone was complaining). sys info same as yours... n i can use my Bluetooth!!! yeah... but still donno how the update works in term of power consumption...1. You follow the instructions on the webpage and you cant go wrong. 2. After that, your phone will reset and it will show the menu again... so i assumed that it is done??? cant see whether the update successfull since cant see in the add/remove prog. can anyone verify that the system information is same as mine??? rom date: 2007/11/8 rom version: v4.5.1 WWE_MS00 batt version : 1.3 extended rom version : v2.0.0 MS00 another forum reported that using this hotfix will resurface the bluetooth prob. Not for me, I never had a prob with the bluetooth the first place (using Jabra) and after the two hotfix on Asus website, I still can use my Jabra... QUOTE(meister @ Jan 3 2008, 10:41 PM) So far, I am using MapKing and Today Agenda only. The Phone seems to hang once a day.....I dont dare to install further softwares though I am very very tempted. Internet sharing - u mean as a modem? or use the internet on the PDA while connected to PC with active sync? How do I active Edge for Digi? I am only able to activate GPRS and its awfully slow. If connected to Edge, how do I share the Internet connection with my PC using Activesync? I tried configuring but gave up. I called Digi but they told me they are not familliar with WM6 of Edge connection (sigh!!) 1. As a GPRS/WAP/3G modem - connect your ASUS, active sync will start. then, on your PDA go to Programs>Internet Sharing ![]() then tap 'Connect'. Your device will disconnected from active sync and it automatically connected to the selected connection (for me MAXIS GPRS). On your computer, when u can see the 10Mbps LAN Connection connected, u can surf/using internet already 2. For data connection, it suppose to connect to the fastest connection available. I tried already in 4 different places, if the phone connected to GPRS it will automatically switch to EDGE/WAP/HSDPA when it available, but u have to make sure in Setting> Connection (tab)> GSM/3G Network > network:Automatic. if GSM selected, phone will not detect/switch automatically to EDGE/3G...
