any update? my family is doing plantation but we only plant rubber and palm oil trees.

I am new to the forum but not to the project. Hello growproject,how things. Very interesting people around here. I am not an expert, maybe just want to share my experiences. Just ignore me,if they are not interesting enough. Anyway, I have been into the subject for quite a while. Planted them slowwwwly by consistently. I have now trees which are small about 2 feet and highest at 10 feet. Have been planting for 1-2 years now. Hobby not really. I gather information for my own curiosity and pleasure.Have been to many places, seen various stages in extracting..... Been to the extraction plants locally and abroad. Yes many are locally extracting the oil..... and yes they do fetch good money. Inooculated big trees (which I bought anyway)and extracted through friends..... They are even around Selangor though many in Kelantan. The oil can be sold here in Bukit Bintang, KL. Thats all for now....bye

to dear forumers who are interested in this gaharu industry, the facts and infos shared by lecturer is right. it is a lucrative business providing that u trade with the right person

anyway we are very delighted by the huge interest from our local & international investors who were very keen to support this industry. May we become among the leading cultivated agarwood producing country throughout the region...

A few days ago I went to Bukit Bintang Plaza and found people selling gaharu chips/perfume. Don't know about the price though.

The person who planted the plant?

the person who selling the plant?

2ndly,
Anyone here who knows someone that reaalllly had planted the plant
& had already gained the profit?From the chips or from the oils?

3rdly,
Anyone knows the "high" demand are from where?
The chips as well as the oil?
what is the demand look like - pure/mixture/ light distillation oil?

Should anyone knew the answer for all these three question, then you are really a great person.
