I have done it twice before. Not purposely lar. Once because the old phone died before the pickup. Another time my relative want the old phone after i doing trade in. Both times okay ajer no complaint from either samsung or instacash

Mind you that samsung got huge profit when you buy their high price flagship. That's why they can reduce the price after only a few months of released.
I hate when they doing this as it will reduce your phone value if you want to resell that said high price flagship phone. Your RM5k phone will only valued around RM2.6k after a year.. LOL

More like Samsung dumping the market with lots of phones to create hype and jealousy.

Android consumers usually wait and see when the high end device drop price at the end of their cycle. Now it is a different game. Samsung inflated the price to skyhigh RM6,199 (take S23U for example). Now, instead of waiting for price drop, Samsung baits you with discounts to give up on your old phone. It doesnt matter if it's the phone you are using or not. The main thing is to get your brain thinking 'what a good bargain'.

Hence RM6,199 plus free upgrade to 512GB, taking RM500 off. Plus the trade in offer, another RM600 off. To top it all off, add another RM200 pre-order discount. That still havent taking into account of RM400 accessories that came with 30% off discount. All in all, you are looking at almost RM1800 worth of discount. When the phone finally reached it EOL cycle, Samsung discounted 25% (for example) and you still end up with RM4.6k price after 1 year. By doing all this mega hoo haa, Samsung finally managed to stabilize the selling price of their smartphone between RM4.6k ~ 4.9k for most of the year.
