Hi, wanna get suggestion. I'm looking for a phone with a great GPS navigation and good battery life as I'm going to travel in Europe. Any recommendation?

As an alternative, can I get a cheap phone while attaching it with BT GPS navigator?

Any other recommendations are greatly welcome!

Comsat ain't original. can be supplier warrantied or a.p. for original it will have a thorus, midlands or 3tribes sticker at the battery or inside the phone. still, stickers can be forged so always be careful. check overall performances of the phone, make sure ur satisfied wit speakers, handsfree, bla bla bla. check imei of box oso. *#06# make sure serial is same on box. check for scratches, check for unknown data like pictures taken.. if there is, it's not reconed or 2nd hand but it'za display unit. better go for phones that are sealed in box, never opened.

To those buying or will be buying Iphone, pls be careful...there is a pirate version of iphone from china and it looks and works 100% like the original iphone...i have tested it and it even feels the same. Pls check your phone first.

Correct me if im wrong.. I have seen both pix of the battery for SE Xperia X1 smartphone AP and Ori set.. And i spot 1 thing different.. Ori battery X1 is made in taiwan, and AP X1 Battery is made in china.. I didnt notice the phone itself made in where, but can anyone explain the differences..?

A small tips, if u guys are buying original set, don't bother going to small stalls or small shops. Go to the big ones. Or to the shop u know. Mostly the conman's are located within small shops and stalls. Thats because they don't keep the phone with them. They have it somewhere else. So the chances of they making it a recon and to give u is pretty high. They can take time about half or 1 hour to recon it and get it ready, and deliver to u or to the stall looking brand new . U wouldn't know either if its recon cause it looks new with new casing and new housing with new box with everything complete. AP or New, just don't go to small stalls or small tiny shops. That doesn't mean that big shops are genuine sellers either.

Its in your eyes of what ure looking at and ur knowledge about handphones. Ask people, ask your friends. Do surveys. Dont just go to one shop, find it nice and cheap, straight buy. Dont do that. Go to few shops, do window shopping. Then compare all, see which looks better for u. Compare all the shop sets in various ways. Do all the tests. U have the rights to do so and the shop owner cant and shouldn't say a thing to u. Always check for IMEI and play around with the set for a while. Dont just turn it on, see all working and buy straight to regret later about its consequences. Be smart, be a good buyer, be a good and smart shopper

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 02 or 20 this means your cell phone was assembled in China which is low quality

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 08 or 80 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 01 or 10 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Finland which is very Good

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 00 this means your cell phone was manufactured in original factory which is the best Mobile Quality

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 13 this means your cell phone was assembled in Azerbaijan which is very Bad quality and also dangerous for your health

I just return from Loywat Plaza... Surveyed new SE mobile phone..... I get best Price for NEW SE k770i is RM410 on the other hand, i try to ask at another shop... they told me that rm 410 for new SE 770i is recon set... but the guy who give me best price for NEW SE k770i told me that hanphone is AP set from comsat......

so how do i know whether it is AP or RECON set? what can i do other than check the time call

i have really budget constrain for this moment and need new hand phone

how you guys able to help me... really noob in this mobile phone field...

what is ur so called" recond" set

I'd like to share my experience here dealing with a fellow forumer.
I'm the buyer and he was selling a 'brand new' PDA supposedly won from lucky draw.
When i saw the box, it was a bit worn. But who cares bout the box anyway right.
Inside, everything looks brand new. The set, accessories, are all like just out from factory.
So i proceeded to check the set. The warranty seal from manufacturer is intact.
So the housing should be original & not changed.
But.. the date on the warranty stciker is 10/2008. It's now 09/2009.
So how can a brand new set be dated 10/2008 & it's a very popular PDA so i doubt there will be old stock.
Further check shows all the accessories were also dated 10/2008.
I got suspicious & checked the battery. The terminals on the battery shows that it has been used.
Like really used when 2 metal parts comes in contact. Unlike a brand new battery.
My common sense tells me something is just not right.
I did not purchase the set & i just want to tell this to you guys to beware.
Some forumers ARE selling USED sets as BRAND NEW !
