Ermm....how to check IMEI & life timer for iphone?

One forumer marah me, said what's the different with ap set, same as original but warranty only mah...

I'll tell you what's different.

Say now the phone's authorized dealer in Malaysia is A. One day, phone manufacturer marah, terminates A's dealership, and appoints B as new authorized dealer.

If you have A phone under warranty, B is obliged to service your phone even though you buy from A.

That's why Nokia Service Center, although maybe operated by Zitron, will service Avaxx phones. Authorized dealer, see?

If you buy AP, the warranty company will sure not service you kaw kaw one. Why? You buy cheap, get cheap service la. Even worse, if company bankrap? Your friendly phone store closes (without telling you where to service)? Go to authorized dealer, they'll either service with a nice price tag, or refuse to service at all.

The reason for all these lawlessness (IP infringment, China imitation, underwater, AP, Return set) is because we don't regulate the market as much.

for original phone, like SE is Minland, i lose d warranty card den still can claim d warranty?

how to check IMEI & life timer for samsung?

I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand xperia x10 is there any way to check the phone settings and test the phone cos there wont be the joystick to press >*<<*<*

Any tips on checking the new phone that are not nokia and sony ericsson....
for instance phone like HTC,Motorola....

nokia can check by pressing *#92702689#
sony ericsson can check by >*<<*<*

what about those HTC and motorola phone......how to check??

No it's depends. For Ap set most of them imei is not same with the box. but for Original set it's 100% confirm will be same exactly with the box.

then how to different recond set & ap set?

IMEI is *#06# I've checked for life-timer but can't seem to find one. Saw a post at another forum: Samsung has no life timer. Can someone confirm?
