Hi, I got some problem here, i bought a Samsung SL i9003 from a forumer few days ago, i went home and put my Sim card in , the tragedy happened . It could not read the SIM card, i send it to Phone shop and they informed me i 'll wait to wait 2 weeks to get back the phone, i got no phone to use currently. What should I do? sit there and wait 2 weeks without phone and my Postpaid bill still going on? Or any suggestion? i'm confused and it's really tough without a cell phone.

Guys, the 1st post was in 2007 back when smartphones wasn't the norm.
Now that 99% of the phones are smart phones, what are the things to look out for in a used smartphone?
Smartphones are more fragile than the candybar phones aren't they?
What are the things that are most likely to be damaged after a drop?

I have a budget of RM500-800.
At first I was thinking of getting a Galaxy Y for RM500 but then I might as well top up RM200 to get a used top of the range Samsung, a Galaxy S.

But then after doing some thinking, I am quite worried that the phones might be spoiled on the inside where we can't see. Especially if the phone has been dropped before.

*#*#3424#*#* code will open diagnostic menu for HTC. It will let you test almost everything in the phone.
