Try attach starting point as well, hopefully got some kaki to join.. Stil few days away.. Anyway, document is quite basic.. Just your own passport and original vehicle geran which is under your name.. If not your name, or photostat geran, then just few more steps.. Nothing complicated.. I have went on early this month, so guess next trip should be early July so can't join.. But still not confirmed yet..

Yes Malaysia license can use.. Betong never check on insurance, so can skip.. Anyway, if just buying the compulsory ones, I think it's quite useless.. Only cover on 3rd party fatality, which I think is quite rare for bikers to cause death to others.. So if you don't want to spend too much to buy 3 insurance (to cover everything, quite like 1st party insurance here), just skip it and ride extra carefully and do not speed.. Me myself never buy any on my Betong trip.. I just ride carefully and mostly ride 40-50 there..

Anyway, very near to my working place.. My last trip I go from office after work @ 11am.. Taman Sungai Besi..

i saw utube but they never mention need to buy insuran....just need k2 form and k6 form

if got pasenger then need k3 form

Okay, will update here whether going or not.. The main consideration is I'm going on End of July too by car for 4d3n coz of my birthday.. So I'm not sure if I should go or not on early July..

For Malaysia insurance to cover Thai accident need extra endorsement.. If just the insurance we renew yearly here doesn't cover there.. BTW, as mentioned earlier, can skip buying, just be extra2 careful no insurance..

yeah 101 is for that if not mistaken... its not that expensive pun... i know allianz is cheaper than lonpac for sure... just did my z900 with allianz in january belas2 je for 7 days...

my versys is with lonpac around 20+ for 5 days :x

Extension 101 MY (your own insurance) To cover your vehicle damage while the accident happened in Kingdom of Thailand not exceeding 100k MYR.

Compulsory TH Insurance = To cover Thai Citizen body injuries/harm caused by the accident.
Voluntary TH Insurance = To cover Thai Citizen/Government properties (Car/Bike, divider, Light poles and such)

Personal Travel insurance = To cover your own Body injuries/death due to the accident happen in Thailand.



Note:

Buy from a reputable insurance agent in Malaysia, get their phone number in case of emergency, a trusted agent will help you in case of accident.

You want to skip not buying all those 4 also can. Touch wood, if anything happen with you and your bike in Thailand you on your own.
