For tat time frame, funnel system, GN particles shield, GN beam riffle is already owning! All the military in the world then are still using physical ammo, suit either power by big battery or petrol (limited power), there is a big gap between the CB......it is near impossible to win! A few funnels can kill dozens of grunts and the high mega launcher cannon can wipe out hundreds in a shot (like Wing Gundam did)! Oh my if i have my enemy tat strong i will surrender! This is overpower just like independence day human F-16 fighting alien high-tech UFO!

If u read the Advance of Hazel story they got a line very interesting regarding piloting the Gundam!
it is something like this "Gundam pilot has big responsibility. To the EFSF Gundam is a legend and also the pride, to Zeon Gundam is the worse enemy. If gundam get shoot down in the action the whole teams morale goes down, and when Gundam show ups in the fight all the enemy will focus on him!"
But such things does not exist anymore in the new gundam series! Tat was too bad......Pilots does not have much skill but with great mecha pawns all, Mecha tat are indestructible.....

Have u ever watch any UC gundam before? U really want godlike gundam go watch Gundam W, Gundam Seed and GSD. This few series we got 1 gundam take out whole squad of enemy one!

And in UC! Even u pilot a Gundam does not mean u can kill a grunt so easily! When they is more than 3 grunt MS in scene the Gundam also has some hard time fighting......and sometimes their gundam get severe dmg when they run into traps of the enemy! Gundam Mk-II even got raped! Zeta gundam even get dmg! And our famous Amuro also trash a few gundam!
While our dear god Kira can go in and out of a whole group of thousand MS and wiping them out in sec onli! U get to see some blink blink and all fall like the Shelltox Mosquito Spray commercial!

Graham really rules this episode! Gundam taken down by lousy flag! I want more of this kind of action! Reminds me of the good old gundam series!
