QUOTE(wei @ Oct 24 2007, 05:24 PM) If you're talking about "Multi-SIM 1 Line", I've talked to the Maxis ppl, the second SIM will only do DATA. Meaning for GPRS/EDGE/3G only. No call function. That's what I've been told. No la, got 2 choice. I'm using it more than 2 years already. I used both for call functions.2 line call out, 1 line received call. 2 line sms out, 1 line received sms. It "Multi SIM 1 line".
Please dont call them (Maxis Center), they will say 1 line for call and 1 line for Data. This post has been edited by SEP910: Oct 24 2007, 06:23 PM |

So far good news all round on 1.1.1 Safari doesnt crash when listening to tunes at the same time. The doubleclicks on Home button is nice but not necessary. I'm happy the update fixes the Safari crash mostly.

Please dont call them (Maxis Center), they will say 1 line for call and 1 line for Data. knn cust care, pass me wrong infos. So with that service you can have 1 phone get call in, the rest of the function on other phone correct? That's what I want to ask them, then they tell me cannot even make call pula This post has been edited by wei: Oct 24 2007, 06:54 PM |

Added on October 24, 2007, 8:28 pmjust tried out my first call with maxis, barely audible on the other side! does anyone know how to increase the ear piece volume? I've put it up to the max already but its still hard to hear. call-in of course does not work... This post has been edited by OmniAtlas: Oct 24 2007, 08:29 PM |

Reboot. I got the same thing as well. A simple reboot fixes it.
Im sure some of us are suffering from this , so here's the pain reliever QUOTE Well, some people get a "call forwarding active" message every time they do a call. I read a lot about this topic and there are also some threads about it in here. Enjoy! Tested to work on mine. To sum up: It's not a bug, it indicates that your calls are being forwarded either to your mailbox or an "caller unavailable" message by your provider. Some people made the message disappear by forwarding all calls to another number, and then enabling again (not sure if mailbox still works). Activating "call waiting" lets the message disappear (since incoming calls are not forwarded anymore). However, there is a simple way to hide this message: Get the file com.apple.carrier.plist found at /var/root/Library/Preferences/ and edit the key ShowCallForwarding to be <false/>. Reboot! There you go, your Mailbox works and you don't get that annoying message anymore :-) Update: There are two settings in com.apple.carrier.plist: ShowCallForwarding: Message shown on outgoing calls, if your number is beeing forwarded. ShowCallForwarded: Message shown on incoming calls, if caller has been forwarded to you. This post has been edited by stringfellow: Oct 24 2007, 08:59 PM |
