haha.. last night till 1 am at lowyat plaza we fix a customer corrupted baseband where sms cant be received but all work.. took us 2-3 hrs to clear all the messy baseband on the iphone

hard work ...

finnally we managed to solve it and fixit with success:)

Opening and closing a thread is not as simple as it looks. You are responsible towards maintaining the thread with infos related and keeping it current, like what Wei is doing now. If you are not willing to shoulder that responsibility, then I suggest refraining from creating one. Otherwise, the thread will be inundiated with pointless chat posts and questions already answered. Nothing wrong with occasional chat, but you have the PM and IM for that kind of conversations.

if you want "breaking" news so much to the point of asking the same question TWICE in a day, go and make the effort to contact maxis yourself... I totally understand wei's & stringfellow's exasperation... From what's been going on in the thread, whenever there's any updates regarding the maxis incoming call issue wei would immediately post it here, so be thankful for that and don't post just for the sake of posting... Maybe you didn't get the sign that nobody replied your question because 1)NO NEW UPDATES; and 2) EVERY LATEST UPDATE IS SHOWN IN THE FIRST POST! no-one has bothered, and no-one will bother to answer your question... you should stop asking it, coz it's just unnecessary...

another common question asked in the Apple Byte section is when the next product launch/update will happen... my common answer is: NOBODY HERE KNOWS!! so please please STOP asking these kind of questions... If you need it for your current needs, just go ahead and buy it now... Be happy with the purchase and just shut up if a new revision is launched, because sooner or later it's bound to happen...

I've decided to get the iPhone! My uncle who lives in the US just bought one on my behalf today... hehe.. Should arrive here in Melbourne some time next week... Cost me $430.00 for the phone (399+tax), and my uncle's belanja-ing the shipping charges.. Getting it shipped here instead of Malaysia so that I won't get charged customs tax/sirim charges, so I guess it's quite a good deal... I'm all excited now ... I heard that as well. Seems true, since Celcom can offer 3G unlimited for so cheap. They should lower their rates.
But I just check at digi.com.my, no such thing yet.

Since I accidently upgrade my iphone to version 1.1.1.Then I do downgrading,activating,updating,jailbreaking, and unlocking. but at last my sim card still no active then I found my IMEI 004999010640000 is not my old IMEI.How should I do now?My Modem Firmware 04.01.13_G Version 10.2(i downgrade again) please help

Careful, that's a sign of a botched attempt. Check if your ICCID is the same as the one before, you check this against the back of your iPhone as well. If it shows as a blank, you're in big trouble. Your case was highlighted in Hackint0sh forum as well, so head there for more details. Good luck!

As for the thread temperature heating up, .......wow! Usually ,i'm the one fiddling around with the "heater" function, funny seeing it got too hot without me tampering with anything. Relax folks, points were made, and i hope were taken as well. Im sure Wei will update once the MAxis case is settled, so i personally think asking for updates everyday would not yield any results, just for the sake of asking.
