If paying rm40-50/ month and get sufficient or probably better (no need add on for roaming/5G), coming from 128/139 that’s a huge saving..almost 1/3… x 24 months wouldn’t that save more than what they subsidize us from getting 24months normal contract? 

rough math, 139-50=89 x24 months = save rm2136…while committing a 24 months contract normally get 1.3-1.4K subsidy and being tied for 24 months..

Yeah, I mean in retrospect it’s only RM11.66 (including SST) more than what I am paying for my current plan and like you said, the sub line gets upgraded to 5G too, which is nice but I’d like to have more details before making a decision, hahaha… I suppose in the grand scheme of things I can just pay the penalty, upgrade to the 139 plan and if I’m not happy tonight, just cancel it and revert to whatever is lower and all it’ll cost me is the penalty of RM3x.xx and pro-rated one day’s bill of RM139? I don't get it though, pay RM60 you get unlimited calls, 5G you get 70 + 30 gb which is more than enough for most people...you said if we don't call our credits remain? isnt calls unlimited? then credits remain can be used on what? lol
