The long term trajectory of Ringgit, SGD and USD is pretty obvious now

Gone the days of 2 band and the most optimistic reality is the 3 band on it πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ if strengthens won’t be 50% appreciation but a 15% at its best only

Hence why appreciation and depreciation is like you like said pathological πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ what is more important stability with low movements which MAS does well to control SGD with proper band hence why their country is preferred as an export and trading hub because of this reason

Shortage everywhere in the world whenever USD index goes below 100 demand is always high

Malaysia is not low wage issue but higher loan commitments everything like to buy on installments or BNPL

If foreign workers can survive why not Malaysians πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ as Malaysians is not saving like the boomer generations

Agreed...

USD become "cheaper"... Everyone chase over it...

From just hoarding, hoping to cash out when get stronger later.... Or keep for upcoming CNY holidays....

Can be any reason....
