In my personal portfolio, I hold about ½ a million ringgit - and I've not added a sen to it since I reached that milestone. Like the Kiwi dollar, I'm also sitting on a paper loss, because when I first came to Singapore some 20/25 years ago and started repatriating SGD back into RM, the exchange rate was close to 2:1.

We all know what the exchange rate is now, so I'm sitting on ⅓ losses ...

The RM and the NZD are my 2 biggest investment regrets.

If really RM 4.3 next month, I am going to convert significantly.

You can try Money Match and compare the rates with Sunway. I can confirmed it's cheaper than WISE or via CIMB Bank transfer.

I've only just used Money Match. Last i transferred was SGD3295 which will not trigger the source document question. However, subsequent transfer will trigger already because it checks on accumulated amount...which is roughly RM15k i think.

Really crazy....RM3k already very low...not even SGD 1k.... Now exchange RM100 also need to give IC. What do they hope to achieve with this?

But we all convert online....previously convert RM3k already need to write IC. Money changer can be trusted with your info? Furthermore, those doing illegal things sure got many money mules using multiple ICs. I doubt they can check anything even with all the info.

If Bangala want convert. What can we do? It's not like illegal activity. We can't stop them converting Bangala to send money back home to their family.

3 rate cuts coming this year, $ index fell.

RM... slight improvement to 4.71x.

against SGD... still 3.52x.

I will just continue to convert. No need to see price. Long term ringgit is on down trend.

It's because of US doings (Trump incoming & Fed rates cuts) or because of Malaysia own strength (all the unpopular policies & decisions done is doing good impact overall now)...

That's what I also in doubts...

Did Malaysia actually did some good work or not... I don't feel... Too much unpopular decision made....
