I got a stupid question. If my drive way is 20ft, gate and pillars is 18ft and my Myvi is 12ft long, can the swing-type gate still swing inwards? I don't know how big my swing gates will be.

got a quotation from my grille contractor for D'Nor 712 for RM1200 + installation excluding wiring. It the price reasonable?how is D'Nor quality?

Hi all, would like to ask that i've be quoted RM2190(moto OEA 333 something, cable pulling, hacking ground and putting pipe for the cable) for installing swing arm type auto gate for my existing gate. Is it expensive?

Yes, it is. For less than 2K you can get a good set from other brand with advanced function.

A lot of my neighbour using it and they feedback so far is good. The price range is from RM1150 - RM1500. I guess you get a very good price already

Considering the following for swing auto gate:

1. Brado 500A http://homealarm2u.com/auto_gate_system/swing_system (RM1300, using existing wiring)

(No price, yet to get quote)

For me, looks like Brado 500a more reliable cause the arm looks solid haha. Brado 500a remote control has 4 buttons offers more security features.

Any comment ?

Think it needs a little more than WD40.
Remotes needs a little frequency tuning too - not responsive.

Hi. Can u pm me your contractor contact? I got quoted D'Nor for folding gate for RM1700 + installation excluding wiring. How many types do D'Nor brand have? Its a rm500 different. D'Nor brand has quite alot of good feedback.

I had just fixed my Dnor for folding gate as well. Price only RM1.3k which exclude wiring.
So far I know the Dnor is quite reliable based on feedback from forum and my grille supplier.
I also very keen to install the DCmotor, after thinking about the after sales service then I decided to install Dnor.
D'nor motor is quite good but 1 thing I dun like is the manual key to open the gate if emergency.
The key is just the alley-key type. So, if the gate hole interval gap is big, then someone from outside can manually open the gate arm.
Beware when you choose the Auto gate.

How about the DC motor? how the manual open method?
