It really doesnt matter, if its ICI, nippon, jotun, etc. Whichever you could get it cheap. But the important thing is, ensure you use a undercoat (with anti-rust) is much better for longer lasting.

Sorry as this is the first time i'm doing this.

type of paint also depends on the material u use for the gate.

my new gate will be mild steel, recently I did some research about
type of paint to use..

for mild steel, the raw material, they will not clean thoroughly for u.
the ms will already have some rust, mebe some oil etc....
unless u specify, wana sand blast etc will cost a bomb.

so i wana use the most high performance heavy duty paint i can get,
as undercoat and also top coat, just one paint enough.

i choose nippon, so i got the nippon 8048 paint, this is a 2 part epoxy mastic paint,
ppl use for undercoat car etc,....

if u look at the catalog, it says nippon 8048 is a surface tolerant ( means no nid clean clean no rust etc surface )
high performance advance tech, multi purpose mastic with high solids... bla bla....

5 liter cost RM 200 .....

last time i just buy the cap katak red oxide paint from hardware shop , then use another top coat,
that is the cheapest...

i saw many KCI paints at the dealer, not sure if KCI paints are cheaper.....

Hi, My House currently got using Ran-ger Autogate system, is the swing type motor, but both side motor also wont function already, can u quote me the best price for replace 2 side motor, and service.

Be careful of some autogate manufacturers, they charge RM80 for a simple house call to check the problem.

Am now thinking of changing to MagPro 303, can anyone share views on this system? Is it reliable? I need an autogate which will not trouble me for 5 years.

Mind sharing who this manufacturer who charges for every visit? I want to avoid.

I would rather not ....all the company's installer and even the boss like samseng...and they know my address...

Paid RM80 for each visit 3 times last year...each time, they open the IC box, adjust something, and collect $ on the spot. Am so frus, and am beginning to think that autogate sellers really have no ethics...they take your money and run...

I can understand your concerns. There are indeed a lot of 'samseng' providers out there, that's why I am really careful also. How about pm me? Rest assured I won't tell anyone, I just want to avoid those horrible 'service' providers/manufacturer.

I did not take the yearly package as some company offers. What choice do i have? Luckily that day i need it, i found this contact number on the way back, 012-3493669 , name Hong. He charges RM38 per visit compared to RM80 likes most companies...for my case, I didn't change anything, just power cut..auto gate off...
