Below are the prices I quoted locally (Melaka from a company provide alarm, autogate and cctv services), but I didnt go for it yet as still comparing

1) DC Moto 905 Motor x 2 (Left & Right Gate)
2) Antispy Remote Control x 3
3) Control Panel with PVC Box
4) Backup Battery
5) Indoor Keypad
6) Installation of autogate motor & system (without wiring)
7) Price with installation = RM 1300.

Optional item:
1) Photo Beam Sensor - RM150/pair
2) Siren horn -RM 40
3) Additional Antispy Remote - RM50/pcs
4) The lock attach at the center of the swing gate - RM300

Dear All,

I been quote for D'Nor and Optimo where the vendor said is much better than DCmotor 905.

In term of price, D'Nor only cost ard 1.3k but local made. Optimo made in Italy with the price 1.9k++. Anyone using these 2 brand?

DCmoto come with 2 yrs warranty, the rest only 1.

I compared D'Nor and DCMoto before this, DCmoto take over D'Nor due to gate system where D'Nor is using hydraulic push arm which required maintenance after a period.

Ah, is there hydraulic push arm? We not dealing with few tons gate right? I was told is mostly use the WORM drive, which explain why it don't need central plunger, because is not easy to turn a WORM gears

Just got my autogate motor installed. Using aprigate boxing arm. Choose it because it comes built with back-up battery, soft opening & closing and anti-crushing function.

The motor seems like one of the better built folding gate arm. Anyone else here using this brand?

Thanks, I have made reservation for DCMoto 905. Yes, the vendor told me no more premium and the new package is NSE where it actually split to individual module instead of all in one bundle.

oic, my DCMoto 905 also not all in one bundle, separate as in my previous post together with the prices, just confirmed with the installer D'Nor is using hydraulic arm, btw I didnt bother that much as I am DCMoto 905 user rclxms.gif

btw the NSE nothing improvement beside not comes in bundle? I know N series vs SE series the controller board is different and the motor driver also different, with power saving mode

P/S: For those who PM me, FYI my autogate is not getting from the Winson u all mentioning, so dont ask me about Winson's service smile.gif Thanks

Are you using a folding gate?
It happen to mine once or twice. After I applied some WD40 to the rollers, no problem.

WD40 is not a long term solution. This maybe due to jam / faulty bearing or roller.

Quite true as after I spray the rollers with WD40, the opening is smoother. Probably the WD40 gets wash away due to the water when washing the porch & cars and rain...

Than you need grease, not WD40.

Have thought of that also. But WD40 will be able to get into the rollers easier as compared to grease.
Another disadvantage of the grease is that sand particles could easily gets onto the grease from the porch washing, etc as they are just above the track.
