Are you using a folding gate?
It happen to mine once or twice. After I applied some WD40 to the rollers, no problem.

WD40 is not a long term solution. This maybe due to jam / faulty bearing or roller.

Just got my autogate motor installed. Using aprigate boxing arm. Choose it because it comes built with back-up battery, soft opening & closing and anti-crushing function.

The motor seems like one of the better built folding gate arm. Anyone else here using this brand?

Quite true as after I spray the rollers with WD40, the opening is smoother. Probably the WD40 gets wash away due to the water when washing the porch & cars and rain...

Have thought of that also. But WD40 will be able to get into the rollers easier as compared to grease.
Another disadvantage of the grease is that sand particles could easily gets onto the grease from the porch washing, etc as they are just above the track.

Thanks, I have made reservation for DCMoto 905. Yes, the vendor told me no more premium and the new package is NSE where it actually split to individual module instead of all in one bundle.

Hmm what is that. Newer to me.

Some people use graphite power for dry greasing, but i doubt you can us this on autogate.

I choose DC Moto because my gate is the folding type. It allows the folding gate panels to be close together when fully opened; thus having a larger effective opening width. If I was to use the use the telescopic arm type, it could reduce the opening width due to the arm between the gate panels.
I believe there are other brands...

Already PM you the supplier's contact.

You could ask your auto gate installer to place a rubber stopper at both the pillars. Problem solved. biggrin.gif

Armored is to protect external abuse. 2.5mm core does not give any external protection.

Conceal as in white pvc? that is useless. Unless you use GI hose.

Is not about EMI, more of reducing the risk of snapping when contractor cut / drill the floor. Armored cable is strong, it won't get crush by the concrete / earth weight. Or attack by mice.
