yup, its made in penang but the company is here in kl. He also mentioned that CASA n DCMOTO is same-same but different. Anyway, the 3 yrs warranty is only for motor n lightning strike is lifetime. But, every1 is rite, i also never heard of autogate damage by lightning.
On warranty, he mentioned that if the compnay carries spare parts and wld be able to repair on the spot but DCMOTO if damage the whole motor would be shipped to penang for repairs...which means ya hse wld not autogate for 1-3 weeks. DCMOTO users, is this true?

I'm changing my gate to Stainless Steel + Alu (13ft Folding). PLanning to go with igates (any comments?) and looking autogate system. GATEWAY AUTOGATE AUTOMATION seems to be reliable installer and supplier as well.

For swing or folding u will hv three type of motor function rotary, screw or hydraulic.
Rotary will be like DC Moto left and right to push open and pull close the gate
Screw will be like Dnor and other arm type screw in and out to push open and pull close the gate.
Hydraulic normally use on very heavy and big gate for bungalow and factory

Piston haven't heard b4 yet maybe the factory come out with turbo charger motor.

Already twice these thing happened. Replace the board need minimum rm400   Any solution guys? Or any autogate system can handle this kind of lighting surge?

No problem on that. Can see in our facebook dblcss.klg most of our customer use 925W and add center lock.
Seem like my frd is happy with the DC Moto that we install for him but he did the solar himself.

Just to be more convenient when u go outstation no need to put normal pad lock. At less you get double protection because u'll hv two locking system.
W built in confirm lock whenever the motor stop and the center prevent ppl from forcing the gate open when it's in proper locking position. What I mean proper locking position is that the gate must close evenly and lock fall into the lock holder.

Important or not is up to the customer and of course their budget. But when the customer want convenient when raining season to hv an extra pad lock then is consider need to item.

What type of gate u hv swing or folding? For swing u can't really see any different after installation but for swing of course there be will a connection between both gate at the side with the lock. U can see from our facebook dblcss.klg on the outcome after the installation.
