Running posture and breathing technique are quite important. Start practicing these 2 slowly then you'll have no problem hitting 5km and so on.

QUOTE(sialanico @ Jul 21 2022, 03:47 PM) Just started out on running, but i always have no stamina to continue beyond 2k mark How long has it been? It takes time to get accommodated with run. Take your time, the first 12-15 session is just to get your body accustomed to it. Again depends on one's age as well. What's the speed you run? Any monitoring device you use? |

QUOTE(sialanico @ Jul 21 2022, 03:47 PM) Just started out on running, but i always have no stamina to continue beyond 2k mark how frequent do you run? take baby steps to train up the stamina. go slow with small steps. too fast with big steps will tire you fast and run out of breath. set yourself target and slowly increase the distance. do remember to warm up and cool down (stretching) after running. invest on good running shoes too. Best advice from more than 10 years running
1) Get a good running shoe, it will last around 1 year or more so when averaging cost it is cheap 2) Do not skip on rest day, don't get too excited and run every day 3) Run slower than you think you can. The slower the better n build your distance up. The speed will come by its own 4) Put on some music or get a running partner, or go to a place with few joggers to get motivation 5) Use running app to track your progress 6) Don't forget to reward yourself |

Be sure to jog in the beginning. The most important thing is breathing and posture. I bought a treadmill to run at home for when I don't want to run outside.

drop to your comfortable pace first..
dont aim for distance but aim for comfortability.. once you're comfortable, slowly increase the pace and distance.. ditch the smart watch till you're ready.. u have to win your brain first which is usually the biggest wall |
