Looking for 75" TV.

From review, its seen U7K great for value... (US only?)

M'sia so far around 7.9k range....

My alternative choice will be Sony X90L, from review although no MiniLED but Pic Quality seen great...

Any choice on this range?
TIA

As many have said, North America Hisense and Worldwide models are not the same. So don't compare and don't expect you'll get the same quality.

I tested the 65" U7K at Harvey Norman. It's definitely better than the U7H, which I own. The mini LED makes a lot of difference.

You still need an Android box/Apple TV to play Disney+ Hotstar at 4K though. Disney hasn't updated their VIDAA app to allow 4K playback.

Thanks for replying.

Now the u6k and u7k prices seem to be going up

I was thinking about lg ur8150.

If similar price u6k and lg ur8150 which will u pick?

If they are similar in price, the U6K wins. The refresh rate is 120Hz which translates to regular TV viewing on top of gaming.

With the U7K available, I suggest you look into that. 65" instead of 55".

65" U7k out of budget unfortunately.

I saw this listing on Lazada for U7H

RM2,399.00 but wait for discount 3.3 from Elektrik Shing Hing Sdn Bhd Lazada

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/hisense-...9213509681.html?

I was thinking of getting it instead of u6k.

Super washed-out color? I don't think so. Color is better than none QLED TVs of the same price range. DV and HDR10+ content pop.

The reduced FALD zones is true. This came out during the time when the trend seems to reduce the zones for FALD TVs, coming right at the heels of mini LED introductions. In scenes where there are dark and bright scenes, it can get unsightly. The majority of the content you watch however is fine.

While its peak brightness is supposed to be around just 700 nits, in scenes when the show suddenly goes white out, you will squint.

If there are better FALD TVs at U7H's price range, then go for that obviously. If there isn't, then its a good buy.

Well most review said the ips panel is bad compare to those VA panel out there. The FALD algorithim is bad also hence bad blooming.

Maybe best is to self compare outside. Thats y u see most mini led panel now VA, cos FALD if IPS, the blooming is there. IPS owes have that dirty look.

Think there is no perfect answer out there unless hisense stop regional modal variation.

In your opinion as a U7H malaysia owner do you think it's reasonable to pick U7H over U6K 55 " for about rm300 cheaper.

U6k price seems to be increasing.

Tv will be viewed by one person only mainly for movies

Thanks 😊 in advance

I think you need to view both versions personally. Bring clips of end credits and movies with dark scenes (10 seconds long) and evaluate. If you have an Android TV device and you can hotspot it, stream something on Netflix or Disney+.

U7H has posterization in Dolby Vision on certain scenes when the clip is played back using an Android TV box. The same clip when played using the internal player will not exhibit this problem. So you may want to stress test the U6K/Pro.

On Shopee I can't find a seller with a sale history that sells U7H anymore.

The TV buying guide is still:
1) Stick to your budget.
2) Stick to the space requirement.
3) Pick the best performance for the price and feature.

Can you explain further on this? Reviews on U7K from the US seem to be always be positive along with statements of best TV for most people etc.

In North America, Hisense made Grade A version. For the rest of the world, we get Grade B. They didn't change the model name and number.

Different factory lines and country of manufacturing.

That's a very interesting insight! That being said, I wonder which would be better then u7k or tcl c755. I'm looking at 85" version. In this same price range is toshiba z670m and lg qned81

Hi, I plan to get the Hisense A6100K 65" TV as it budget friendly + 3 years warranty. How long is the claim warranty process? Weeks or months? I survey and people complain the TV will breakdown after 1 or 2 years.

At the end, I choose 75' X90L, after all LZD voucher, cost around 6.8k

Did not opt for Hisense coz (1) SH having display but the sale guy said they will not carry for sale coz after sales is bad. (2) You can google any Hisense Service Center, can really view bad comment on response etc.
