How to redeem? All hisense tv or for newer model only?

There is a QR code that will be displayed when you press Enter on the Disney+ banner on the VIDAA homescreen.




So for either existing or new Disney+ Hotstar member, you use that QR code which will bring up the to login or create a new account. But what's not clear is if it actually does anything. My plan didn't seem to extend after I logged on.

As to your second question, I believe it's only for Hisense owners who have VIDAA OS. Hisense owners who have Google TV OS would have no problem downloading and using Disney+ Hotstar.

Hey guys, my U7H received an firmware update but failed halfway and now stuck on boot loop, anyone has any idea to fix it?

Hisense 70" A6100K now is only below RM2.5k with the online sales. Is it worth to get this model if only for Youtube and online movies (no 4k)?

Harvey Norman sells the 65" U6K Pro for RM3,600. That's about retail a price as they come.

Get in touched with Hisense support, they sent some technician to look at the TV.
After tell them what happened they say is software issue and need to change motherboard, so now waiting for their contact on when they are coming (within 14 days according to them) to do it on site.

Ouch! Can't they just manually flash the firmware by usb?

My TV just broke after 13 years

Anyone knows if U7K is as good as the US version as per Rting reviews.

I just use for Movies(most important)

Play competitive online game - input lag in RTing review is very good for 144hz. @ 4.8 ms for 1080p.
Game graphic quality not important.

Got ppl here said u7k got grey uniformity issue? But i think that is not very severe problem.

perhaps i was being overly paranoid.

Nevertheless anyone know the Christmas price for the 7Uk & 6uK unit.

I just went to harvey norman today, the 55" price went up RM500 for the 6uk & 7uk unit. 55" was around RM2000 on CNY sales for 6uk today its RM2500 . so unlucky TV spoils wrong time. '

Rtings' Hisense U7K is completely different model with Malaysia's U7K although they share the same model name.

Actual how to do comparison?

Check the local dimming zone quantity, brightness, and functions.
Conclusion don't buy Hisense which known as model scam.

As many have said, North America Hisense and Worldwide models are not the same. So don't compare and don't expect you'll get the same quality.

I tested the 65" U7K at Harvey Norman. It's definitely better than the U7H, which I own. The mini LED makes a lot of difference.

You still need an Android box/Apple TV to play Disney+ Hotstar at 4K though. Disney hasn't updated their VIDAA app to allow 4K playback.
