hi, how's the aquaplaning & wet grip? if compare with PS4
*
PS4 should be superior.

Yokohama Advan Apex V601 strong points are more affordable, dry grip & low noise.

This tire is much cheaper than Falken Azenis FK510. FK510 strong points are wet grip & aquaplaning resistance.

Hi I'm using 185 55 15 tyres and I usually pump it up with 250kpa, is this too much and will over inflate the tyres? Bcs on Google it says should pump 220kpa?

Primacy 4 grooves are like small streams, PS4 is like the Congo River

Maximum pressure permitted by tyre manufacturers are always embossed/printed on the external sidewall of any tyre.

Yours is likely 350 kpa MAXIMUM, which hasn't been breached with a 250kpa!

220kpa is the minimum tyre pressure recommended by your car manufacturer for its specific design load. This design load is well below that of a 250kpa load rating.

This is not over-inflation per se, as far as the tyre is concerned.

I would say there is tyre over-pressure for the vehicle design load, which technically is harmless and NOT 'dangerous' as often expounded.

Internet has been confusing and misleading in interpreting 'tyre' Over Inflation and/or 'vehicle load' Over Inflation.

interesting, the Yokohama Advan Apex V601 sounds more like a competitor to the Bridgestone Potenza RE004, but looking at the V601 tread pattern, kinda hard to imagine it has low noise

Falken Azenis FK510 is good, according to a friend of mine, driven his car as well, feels good

I'm curious on the new Yokohama Advan Sport V107 as well

my understeer experience with Primacy 4 does not happen in aquaplaning, just pure damp road surface

of course, Primacy 4 very easy goes into aquaplaning when hitting puddle of water

Depth at 4mm is fairly good, almost 50% of your original tread depth.

I would not change it if I were you. Change around 2-3mm still more reasonable but do be aware of the drawbacks.

What is your main requirements?

CC7 more for comfort while XM2+ has good wear & wet balance.

would you recommend changing if tyre is old (>3yrs on road), but rarely driven? long way to go before botak
so far didnt notice drying or cracking

and if say I want to change, got recommend quiet tyre?
not that important on grip, since rarely go above 120km
currently using primacy 4 and its very good for me

No, 3 years is still fairly young. A tire should be able to do at least 10 years.

Primacy 4 is definitely the top grip + comfort tire. Depending on your size Continental's Comfort Contact 7 would be ideal but lacks the grip power of Primacy 4.
