CR7 is well within his rights to move. The club hasn't exactly strengthened in the summer transfer window so far while our rivals have. CR7 will continue to be one of the best performing players in a mediocre team and that doesn't look to be changing in the footballing side. Mediocre teams do not win anything.

He has kept his side of the bargain with the performances he put in. Manchester United has not met expectations with him, nor the fans.

Wherever he goes, if he does, I'll keep an eye out for that team to watch their games.

Have not seen many ppl demonise CR7 for wanting to leave

General consensus is if he wants to leave, let him go and dont “imprison” him

However, some ppl just wanna stick labels onto fans who agree with the club to sell CR7 (if the club wanna sell)

Ronaldo news really weird, he said he wanted to play UCL. He already knew that MU another going to play UCL during April and he really really want to play for UCL, he could have request to leave when EPL ended in May, why now only said want to play UCL football? Now no matter how he wants also UEFA can’t squeeze a place for us. He knew that early.

Now 3 teams interested on him:

1. Napoli - really? Serious? They can provide him UCL football but Napoli will never be Serie A contender this season, the Milans and Juve are teams to beat

2. Chelsea - UCL football but can feed him EPL cuz City by far still the best team in EPL now. Join Chelsea will just tainted his image as MU “legend”

3. Bayern - very possible considering direct replacement for Lewan if he is leaving for Barca. UCL football, one of the fav, Bundesliga guarantee winner.
If we able to sign FDJ, Martinez, Eriksen with confirmed arrival of Malacia and possible Pau if we have extra cash, this maybe, probably can make Ronaldo to stay.

Cincai say only, takkan say, I pretty sure will be trophiless season again.

If he go, I hope he go bayern or psg. Then can win another country league title.

If chronology rumour correct, he say will stay if eth wants him. Eth wants him obviously. Now dunwan stay, very obvious he disappointed with team transfers.

If we get 4-5 new players, maybe he will stay

However, reports on Monday claimed that it was United that considered Ronaldo's future earlier this year.

According to The Athletic, former interim manager Ralf Rangnick wanted to sell Ronaldo during the January transfer window as the forward was hindering what he was trying to implement at the club: a high-pressing side.

Rangnick reportedly asked football director John Murtough and chief executive officer Richard Arnold, via several emails and messages, to consider selling the Portuguese superstar as he felt convinced the No 7 wasn't a part of the club's long-term plans.

Based on statistics
RR or United lost more w/o CR
Keep on faith with Rashford? If he failed this season, confirm Welbeck 2.0..something which is dubious due to his activist commitment

With Cristiano Ronaldo starting
Games: 35
Wins: 17
Draws: 7
Defeats: 11

Points per game: 1.65
Win rate: 48.5%
Loss rate: 31.4%

Goals: 55
Goals per game: 1.57
Goals against: 50
Goals against per game: 1.42

Without Cristiano Ronaldo starting
Games: 14
Wins: 3
Draws: 7
Defeats: 4

Points per game: 1.14
Win rate: 21.4%
Loss rate: 28.5%

Goals: 16
Goals per game: 1.14
Goals against: 19
Goals against per game: 1.35

So who is the problem? Ralf? With that headless pressing? Towards end of RR era..it is as bad as Ole era

Ahh, Rashford being Welbeck 2.0.
Here are the numbers :

Marcus Rashford. Club career 303 appearances. 93 goals.
International 46 appearances 12 goals.

Danny Welbeck. Club career 375 appearances. 84 goals.
International 42 appearances 16 goals.

Not such a big difference between the two.

as long as we don't play Eriksen like Mata (play in RW when he is CAM), he should be a very good signing

Eriksen functions in Bruno's role. In trying to accommodate both, one might be used out of formation.
Unless Ten Hag tries to do Ancelotti's famous Christmas tree formation of dual CAMs from AC Milan.

Already on soccernet bro

https://www.espn.com/soccer/soccer-transfer...-united-sources

Christian Eriksen agrees three-year deal with Man United - sources

Christian Eriksen has agreed to join Manchester United, sources have told ESPN.

The midfielder, who is a free agent, is set to sign a three-year deal once a medical is completed.

The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season at Brentford where he scored once in 11 games. He has turned down the chance to re-sign for Brentford to move to Old Trafford.

Tottenham also lodged an interest in Eriksen but after Antonio Conte stepped back from a deal, United were able to swoop in.

Eriksen is set to become Erik ten Hag's second signing of the summer after the capture of 22-year-old Netherlands left-back Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord.

It is the latest step in a remarkable comeback for Eriksen, who suffered a cardiac arrest playing for Denmark at last summer's European Championship.

His contract at Inter Milan was officially terminated in December 2021 and he signed from Brentford as a free agent in January 2022.

He was instrumental in helping Brentford finish 13th in the Premier League in their first season in the top flight following promotion from the Championship with his fine form ensuring interest from a host of clubs across Europe.

United have won the race for his signature and he will be part of Ten Hag's new era at Old Trafford.
