Erm forgive me coz I'm still a noob in automobile thingy...

what you mean above is Auto Transmission which can shift gear? Whats the difference of it if compared to MT?
*
dont ask for forgive lah smile.gif

cvt (continuously variable transmission) is a transmission... theres a lot of transmission in today's cars (triptronic, twin-clutch gearbox etc etc including cvt).. put it this way... cvt has an infinite gears, means no actual physical gears (like 1, 2, 3 etc etc).. its belt-driven... go here lah easy: CVT:Wiki
a better explaination with imgs: CVT:howstuffworks

so, due to its characteristic of no physical gears (infinite), a electronic controlled mechanism can locked any number of gears.. this comes the 7 speed steermatic thingy... its not 7 physical gears, but virtual... so you can drive your city like manual trans but shifted at your steering... in depth about sterrmatic: TempleofVTEC

go test drive city... its fun to drive... smile.gif

Hi apisgogo,

Thanks a lot for the explanation and links notworthy.gif

I would love to test drive it, but maybe not now as I still don't have enough money to buy car yet.

Anyway, any indication will Honda release another cheaper hybrid car in Msia?

glad i can help smile.gif

cheaper hybrid? i dont think so. even honda manage to bring down the hybrid cars to the ground, malaysian govt will tax it to the max to protect local car manufacturers. unsure.gif imagine civic hybrid (currently @ RM16x,xxx) selling @ same price as waja or even perdana...

it suppose to have lower tax or even better none! because less pollution and less consumption of fossil fuel...

so, for ppl who 'fuel consumption' concern, go for idsi... proven for fc...

What i meant is 1.5k + extra 1.2k from honda malaysia which total-up 2.7k. But thumbup.gif congrats to you as your offer is not bad for a 2008 car.

So your tint in those can reflect light one when under sun or those crystal clear ones like v-kool type.? unsure.gif
