My salesman tell me next month I can get it. Not sure is it true? Any update from your salesman? Bank offer me 2.26%. Is it a good deal?

Went to checkout the car today and noticed the seat has the same issue as Civic RS, this part where u sit lacks cushioning, feels very hard as if you are sitting directly on top of the metal. Not sure if can tahan for long journeys

If you need real low speed follow ACC, then forget about Corolla cross. Yes footbrake is defeating the purpose. Just go test drive and try it at a busy traffic light or purposely go jam road.
In Malaysia if you want everything then the price is much higher. Including that LSF, maybe you can also look at Corolla altis instead. Not lower than civic. I think at least one of the seats can adjust higher too. Another option safest is CRV. I think no issue for in and out, quite nice for me. And civic should still be tested by your parents, maybe get them to the showroom haha.

But in your situation I’d just go for CRV TCP, 2nd hand if need to save money. Altis if your mom can easily get seated and exit.

Thanks for your advise will definitely shortlist altis, but Paultan says it’s the same height as predecessor which my mom can climb in, prioritising this also because this is her dream car,

Just realized that dimensions and boot space of the new HRV is just comparable to Proton X50

https://www.carbase.my/car-comparison?id=Sv...56Ut,RS3KEYtRWm,

Suddenly HRV is not that attractive any more. Damn it

How long is the waiting list for x50? You should really go and view yourself, the cabin seems claustrophobic but the exterior is very nice

If based on figures, the new HRV boot space is comparable to x50.

But when i went to see the car in person, the boot seems much larger. Maybe its just me.

Both brands already talking about about a year long wait. Incidentally both dealers are DRB HICOM people. No need to compete already.

Just sharing my observation, and analysis and don't mean to step on any toes , OK. peace

HRV boot seems deeper into rear passenger seats compare to X50

Maybe that’s just me
