Wat about the E8200? Good OC-ing results?

I'm going to LYP tmr to buy new PC Getting a E8200 with Abit IP35-E mobo. This mobo should be compatible with the new procs rite?

all P35 mobo are compatible with 45nm Proc with just a BIOS update or you get the latest revision of mobo which comes with the 45nm bios installed

I using IP35-E bios 15...so far so good.
Prime @ 3.7GHz now..hehe.

If U want 4GHz easily..I would suggest go for E8400

but the price cut is only for old proc.. the penryn still same price

Even without the price cut the Penryns are cheaper than those E6850 and E6750 when they first out ... So for now i think its quite reasonable but I think the price should be cheaper, M'sia market just overpriced... lolz

It takes a lot more than batch number and doesn't guarantee even if you go by that number

any benchies later after finish lesson, i gonna try 4.5 GHZ straight away

Na...benchmark is not my thingy now.
More toward real life imporvement.
After upgrade, I opened 2 X WoW game in window mode while extracting 4.5GB rar file, Double prime at background and Sufring using Firefox with around 10+ tabs...still smooth like butter...

2XWoW game in window mode now is full 60FPS. Before upgrade is like up and dawn 35 to 50+ between 2 WoW window.

they put it in the list quite long time ago..when u call them,no stock..

ohhh, then i will go back to the same question again E8400 Vs Q6600, see which 1 got stock la...

E8400 vs Q6600

both are great..and perform in different condition/task at stock speed..

but quad more advantages

if u plan just for better gaming, surf, movie,save more watt..i recommend u e8400 if got stock

but in my shoes, i do encoding, video editing, rendering, and gaming of course..so, quad is my choice

if i dont do this video job thingy..i'd rather buy E8400..its 45nm

if your ram can go over 900Mhz on 1:1 ( for 450mhz bus) then it will be great

@ 1280X1024 resolution ?
