the current myvi steering also like wth? very light indeed.

wonder how tf those kids can drive it beyond 130km/h on highway
*
Not a problem. The faster you go the moment force by tire rotation will make the steering more heavy to turn. This is physics. It will not be lighter like when you are slow. Need more force to turn. Anyway, once high speed you do not want to turn the steering abruptly biggrin.gif

I own a MyVi also and sometimes I drive fast too. At 130km/h, it is still okay for me. Normally, I just cruise to work in the morning at 80km/h. I think truck drivers also get mad. I signal them to overtake me and move aside to give more room all the time. Container trucks at 100+km/h on highway are normal. I let them pass. sweat.gif

people see on paper trunk size pakai liter, dont think proper usable space for odd shaped stuff like stroller.

Boi u must be still single 😋. If have children, people tend to plan ahead what type of car they will buy and the cargo space/layout it offers to put baby accessories and other items.

For me, I dont believe buta2 what manufacturer state on paper because different car have different usable space and layout.

to fulfill ego needs, SUV

for driving pleasure, Sedan

pratical, still sedan

cheaper to maintain, is still sedan.
but why SUV more popular?

i can only tell u, UMNO also popular here despite all the corruption.

Suv higher ride height, easier ingress and egress, wider & taller door opening useful to load baby in car seat, no need to bend, more cargo space with bigger hatch boot etc

The SUV is more on those with 4WD or AWD. Other than engine oil, need to change also differential oil. If the 2WD model I think about the same.

2 key things, bigger and heavier body = more material, bigger rims/tyres = more expensive.
Engine is subjective. Can be more or less the same if in between 1.5T to 2.5L engines.
This is of course comparing similarly priced sedan equivalents.

Yep. Also the loading "hole" size and shape. And the load floor height.

Normal quoted boot space is usually calculated to the window line, so for SUVs and MPVs it is sometimes deceptively smaller than a sedan (even a B segment City has 500L, bigger than most SUV/MPV) but very often a SUV/MPV can easily load things past the window line. Safe or not or police kacau is another story.

A lot of things that makes sense for families don't necessarily make a lot of sense otherwise. Like sliding MPV doors for example...great for children to use and not to worry about them smashing the doors into other cars. Compared to MPVs with normal swing out doors like on the Alza that are very long and swing out very far, tough for tight parking spots (fortunately he Alza is fairly narrow).

A lot of people buy cars based on Thier emotions and not the technically and functionality and fail to test out these aspects when car shopping.

maybe because most people are just common people laugh.gif

they dont have such specific need like i must fold my stroller upright laugh.gif

people just MAKE DO.

if you have 200k budget and have tonnes of free time then of course you can do all kind of test .

but most just dont laugh.gif

and they get rewarded by easy to access repairing and resale, if comparing with niche selection like getting a subaru laugh.gif or a peugeot.

im surprised when people mentioning Ikea here.

hiring ikea to send your stuff to your house is like rm50 only.

you dont need to base your 5 years commitment on ikea shopping.

and how often do you do shopping in ikea for bulky stuff? you renovate every 6 months?

Tyres.

A 19inch vs 16/17inch tyres a lot different.
